Chapter 13: The Epilogue

6 months later

EJ's POV

It has been a wild 6 months.

After we defeated Goldar, Rita went on a rampage in the city releasing multiple monsters a day trying to get us tired, but it didn't work. Now that all 9 of us are Power Rangers, we were able to defeat the monsters in half the time. It was so much fun working together as a team, we were all insync, because of that Rita couldn't stand it anymore and went into hiding on the moon. It has been a few weeks now and we haven't had a monster sighting anywhere, but we are well prepared in case there is one.

It is now the last week of school and all of us are sitting in the cafeteria, remembering our times as rangers and the great memories we made.

Author's POV

"OMG, remember that time Ricky slipped on a puddle in the middle of a fight with the putty patrol." Nini said.

"Yeah! And then EJ ran over there to make sure he was okay, leaving us to fight off the rest of the putties." Gina said, giving EJ a pissed off look.

"Hey! I had to make sure my boyfriend was okay. He bruises easily." EJ said, turning to Ricky and giving him a small kiss on the lips.

"Ew! Get a room!" Ashlynn said, throwing a notebook at her cousin.

"HEY! It's not like you and Big Red are any less obvious." EJ said back to his cousin, who now had a bright red face. Big Red just reached over and hugged her.

"Y'all couples are too much." Kourtney said, laughing.

"Sorry Kourt." Nini said, giving her best friend a hug.

"It's okay! I'm glad I get to watch all of y'all" Kourtney said giving a wink to EJ, knowing he is the only person who knows about her girlfriend.

"I'm going to miss kicking monster butt every week though" Carlos said to the group, while holding Seb's hand.

"Yeah, same. It was like my only exercise/fun thing throughout the week." Ricky said, causing everyone to laugh.

"Well, I know how to make your week more fun." EJ whispered into Ricky's ear, grabbing his waist and sending a shiver down Ricky's spine.

RIcky just mouthered, "Later, babe." to EJ, making sure their friends didn't hear.

"Oh did Madam Zordon not tell you all?" Nini asked the group. They were all confused.

"She wants us to patrol the city every day after school in shifts, to make sure everything is safe and what not."

"So who's got the first shift?" Ashlynn asked.

"We do!" RIcky said, holding his an EJ's hand up.

"WHAT?! C'mon babe! I thought you wanted to have fun later today?" EJ whispered to Ricky.

"I do want to have fun and this will be fun! Plus, I miss fighting and being in the suit. I promise afterwards we will have our fun." Ricky said, giving EJ those puppy dog eyes he knows he can't resist.

"Ugh fine, but you better stick to that promise! I have been lonely without you." EJ said, making a sad face causing Ricky to blush.

"You're so annoying, but yes I promise." Ricky said, giving EJ a kiss on the cheek.

"Y'all are so cute I love it! Maybe we can double date later and catch up?" Ashlynn said to EJ and Ricky.

"Yeah that sounds great!" Ricky said with a big smile on his face.
