Chapter 24: New Ranger

"A new what?" Everyone shouted at once, but as they were all in shock, a white ranger appeared out of the smoke.

EJ and his friends got in their fighting stances right away. They don't know who this ranger is, could it be a fake? A trespasser? An alien?

"Guys! Guys! Calm down! No need to fight." Big Red said. "You are going to love who this is."

The white ranger put their hands up in surrender and slowly walked their way over to the rest of the rangers. They slowly reached for their helmet, unclipping it, and taking it off. To their surprise, they didn't expect to see who it was.

"RICKY?!" EJ shouted.

"Yup, it's me! I'm back!" Ricky said with the biggest smile on his face.

EJ immediately ran over and embraced his boyfriend in the tightest hug possible. He couldn't believe Ricky was a ranger again! The rest of the group came over and gave Ricky a hug as well.

"Wait, how did this happen?" Nini questioned.

"Well.. Madam Zordon and Alpha had been working on a new morpher for me for a while. Ever since they found out that the green ranger's power came from Rita, they had a feeling it would go away eventually. So they had a backup plan, but needed Red's help to finish it." Ricky said, pointing to Big Red.

"Yeah, when Madam Zordon and Alpha asked Ricky and I to stay behind, they actually needed my help with the new morpher and communicator. I used my engineering/computer skills to help them out and voila. The new white ranger." Big Red said, looking at Ricky.

"I'm speechless. How do you feel?" EJ asked.

"Brand new. Like I can take on anything, this new power is great!" Ricky said.

But of course their celebration didn't last long as the alarm in the command center went off. Alpha runs to the screen to see what is happening, when they notice the Earth Monster attacking the city.

"RANGERS! ALERT!" Alpha shouted.

"What is it, Alpha?" Ashlynn asked.

"The Earth Monster is back!"

"Well, so much for celebrating your new power Ricky. You ready to test it out?" Gina asked.

"Let's do it! Y'all better suit up and join me!" Ricky said.

"IT'S MORPHIN TIME!"

"Red Ranger Power"

"Pink Ranger Power"

"Blue Ranger Power"

"Black Ranger Power"

"Yellow Ranger Power"

"Purple Ranger Power"

"Silver Ranger Power"

"Brown Ranger Power"

The rangers morphed and immediately teleported themselves to town. When they arrived, they split up to help out the citizens. Carlos, Ashlyn, Nini, and Big Red went to help out the citizens and made sure they were safe. Gina, Seb, Kourtney, EJ, and Ricky, all went to attack the monster right away. Ricky was the first to go attack the monster to try out his new power and it was crazy! Ricky had never had that much power ever! He was attacking the earth monster from all different angles and directions, confusing the earth monster.

"This is going to be an easy battle!" Ricky said in his earpiece.

"Don't get so cocky now babe.' EJ said back.

"Please, I got-" Ricky said, but was instantly hit with a giant rock that was thrown at him.

"Well, didn't see that coming.."

"Ricky! Ricky! Are you okay?" Big Red says as he approaches him with the rest of the rangers.

"Yeah, all good. Just need to pay more attention."

"Typical." Gina said, laughing.

"Rude!" Ricky snapped back.

"Uh guys, the monster.." Carlos interrupted the two bickering like siblings.

"Oh yeah right! Everyone attack at once! But watch for flying rocks. The monster can't stop all 9 of us if we all attack together." EJ said.

"Right!" Everyone said in unison.

The 9 Power Rangers turned around together and instantly started running towards the Earth monster, but when they all about to strike at once, the monster disappeared.

"Uh? What happened? Where did it go?" Seb asked.

"No idea.. That was weird, y'all." Kourtney said,

"Yeah, something doesn't feel right. Let's get back to the command center and ask Madam Zordon what happened." Ashlyn suggests.

The rangers teleported back to the command center with confused looks on their faces.

"Madam Zordon, what the heck just happened?" Carlos asked as the rangers all teleported back to the command center.

"Rangers, I have no idea what just happened. But I know it's not good, I feel something bad is about to happen soon."

"Bad? Like another monster bad? I think we can handle that, I mean did you see the way Ricky was handling that rock monster. His new power is unstoppable!" Nini said.

"Right! The way he was in like 40 different places at once! Lord Zedd doesn't stand a chance against us now." Kourtney said, high fiving Nini.

Ricky started to blush with the praise he was getting. He knew it wasn't all him, Madam Zordon and Alpha did create the suit and the power and Big Red worked on the morpher, so it's a little bit of everyone really. Ricky was now smiling ear to ear, he was happy to finally be a ranger again.

"Calm down everyone. I know with Ricky's new power he is going to be an unstoppable force. I mean he already stopped my heart.." EJ said, causing a bunch of groans and eye rolls from the rest of the rangers and a wave of redness across Ricky's face. Yeah, EJ loved Ricky, so what!

"Anyways, I do agree with Madam Zordon. I feel like something big is coming too..." EJ finally finished his sentence.

Everyone's mood instantly changed, all of the faces became sad and depressed. They thought they could finally beat the monster's and make Lord Zedd run and flee like Rita Repulsa, but it looks like maybe something worse is coming.

"Hey! Cheer up everyone! I mean we're all in this together right? We can face anything! We are the Power Rangers, duh!" Gina said.

"Yeah, G's right! We got this everyone!" Ricky said, causing everyone to smile now.

"Rangers, Alpha and I need to do some more research about what threat Lord Zedd is planning. We will let you know once we find something out." Madam Zordon said.

"Sounds good, thanks Madam Zordon." The fearless leader said.

"Juices on me! Let's all go to Ernie's!" Big Red suggested.

Everyone agreed and were ready to head out. "Don't worry Madam Zordon, we will keep an eye out on things. If you find something out, call us and we'll come back." EJ said.

Madam Zordon smiled as the rangers teleported out of the command center to go to Ernie's Juice Bar.

"WAIT!" Madam Zordon yelled, but it was too late.

"What is it, Madam Zordon?" Alpha asked.

"They forget to de-morph. I hope no one sees them in the ranger's suits..."

A/N: So I decided to make Ricky the white ranger... but I still let him keep his dragon powers. So I guess he's the white dragon ranger instead of the white tiger ranger. Only so many chapters left in this story!!
