Ricky has always been the new kid in town wherever he goes. His dad's work made them constantly move and he never made a solid group of friends, ever. He would be nice to people, but never stayed in contact with anyone to become real friends.

This year, his dad's job placed him here, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Ricky could have gone and stayed with his mom in Chicago, but they didn't have the best relationship with her after they got a divorce. He would rather take his chances with his dad, moving constantly but being happy, then stay in one place with his mom and not be on good terms with her.

School has just started in the fall and Ricky was yet again, all by himself. He was walking aimlessly through the cafeteria, keeping his head down, hoping to just find a table in the back and just sit by himself. WIth his luck though, he didn't see where he was going and bumped into some jock.

"Watch where you're going, loser!" The jock yelled at Ricky, who now had the whole school staring at him.

"I-I'm I'm sorry" Ricky said quietly, lifting his head up just slightly avoiding eye contact with the job and trying to find the furthest table away from everyone.

"Yeah, you better run!" The jock yelled back at Ricky.

Ricky started to run to the furthest table in the corner of the cafeteria. Trying to keep his head down as much as he could, so he wouldn't cause any more attention. He was weaving through tables and students, when he noticed another jock sitting at a table with a bunch of people. To Ricky's surprise, this jock wasn't sitting with the rest of the athletes, instead he was sitting with normal, non athletic people. Ricky made eye contact with this jock causing the athlete to smile at Ricky. Ricky's face started to turn a bright red and he bolted to the empty table in the back.

"Well, off to a great start. I guess" Ricky said to himself sarcastically. His stomach felt weird.. Was he hungry? It couldn't be that cause he was eating his lunch now. Why was he feeling like this and why was the image of the jock with those bright beautiful blue eyes floating in his head?

Ricky looked up towards the blue-eyed jock and his friends and saw the athletic boy smile and laugh with his friends. God, Ricky loved that smile. And he wanted to be the one to make him laugh. "Wait... Am I gay?" Ricky thought to himself.

He didn't know what he was, all he knew was that he was feeling some type of way for this jock that he never felt before. They haven't even said a word to each other, but Ricky wanted him, he wanted him bad. Just when Ricky was deep in thought, the ground started to shake and everyone started to scream.

Ricky had lived in enough cities to know when an earthquake was happening, he didn't think they would happen here though. He was about to kneel down and climb underneath the table, when a bunch of kids started running towards him, knocking him to the ground causing Ricky to hit his head against the table. Ricky passed out.

He thought he was dead when he started to see a few people in his sleep. He saw a person who looked like a monkey with wings, one who looked like a dog but with really long ears and was white and pale, and then he saw a woman who looked like an evil space alien queen. He forsure thought he was dead, none of those things could be real, right?

He could faintly hear the evil space queen say to him, "Ricky Bowen, you were chosen to become the evil Green Power Ranger. You will listen to all of my commands and will obey everything I say. You will work for me and only for me." Ricky closed his eyes and fell back asleep as he was hearing the evil space queen laugh maniacally.

After what felt like hours, but was only a few minutes, Ricky woke up with the biggest headache and a blackeye. "Was that real? Thank god, I'm still alive though" Ricky thought to himself. He got up from the ground and started to walk outside of the school when he ran into someone.
