Chapter 26: Identities Reveal

Back at Salt Lake, our rangers just teleported behind Ernie's Juice Bar in a dark alley.

Howie stepped outside to take the trash out during his shift at Ernie's, when he heard a bunch of voices coming from the alley. He was scared, he didn't know if these people were going to beat him up or if they were selling drugs or just doing something shady.

Howie hid behind the dumpster hoping they would leave soon, so he could go back to work, But to Howie's surprise, bright colors started to glow from in front of the dumpster where the voices were coming from. Howie decided to peek over the dumpster and he couldn't believe what he was seeing, it was the Power Rangers standing right there in front of him!

"Oh my god, it's the Power Rangers!! I have to go talk to them." Howie whispered to himself, but right when he was about to get up, the rangers spoke.

"We made it." Seb said.

"Omg guys look!" Nini said, pointing to their suits.

"Oh shit! We forgot to de-morph, do it now!" EJ instructed the team to do it and everyone followed.

"Hopefully no one saw us." Ricky said as everyone nodded.

"C'mon y'all, everything's on the house!" Big Red said as they all entered Ernie's.

"No way! They are the Power Rangers?! My friends are the Power Rangers?!" Howie couldn't believe what he just heard and saw. The people he has been talking to the whole year and has shared classes with are the Power Rangers.

"I have to go tell them that I know and I saw what happened." Howie said to himself as he entered Ernie's to go back to work and to tell his friends what he saw. "Hopefully, they won't kill me."

As Howie entered the juice bar to go back to his shift, he saw the rangers, I mean his friends, enter his section. Well it's now or never, Howie thought to himself.

"Hey Howie! Didn't know you were working today?" Big Red said.

"Yeah, I'm scheduled all week."

"Hey Howie, good to see you again." Ricky said.

"Hi Howie." Kourtney followed.

"You guys know Howie from school right?" Big Red asked the rest of the group. They all have seen him or had had him in classes, so they knew of him.

"Hi Y'all, nice to see everyone." Howie said, nervously. "What k-kind I get you guys?"

"A round of Berry Blast smoothies for everyone and a couple of baskets of fries. Just put it on my tab." Big Red said.

Howie smiled awkwardly and then proceeded to walk back to the kitchen, but was stopped when someone yelled out his name.

"HEY HOWIE!" EJ shouted.

Oh crap, they know. They saw me. This is it, they are going to kidnap me or do something worse so I won't spill their secret. Howie turned back around and walked back to the Rangers' table.

"Uh-yeah EJ. Need something else?" Howie said with a nervous tone in his voice.

"No, we're good, but why don't you take your break and hangout with us?" EJ said, with a big smile on his face.

"YEAH! I mean the juice bar is slow today and my parents won't mind." Big Red said. The rest of the rangers agreed and had smiles on their faces.

"Uh sure, that would be great! Thanks guys. I'll go get your food and drinks and then we can hang."

"Grab yourself something too!" Big Red said.

Howie put his thumbs up, then headed back to the kitchen. So they don't know that he knows, maybe he will tell them when he sits down with them. He has to come clean about what he saw.
