Chapter 17: Seblos Date

Seb transported Carlos and himself back to his farm. It was a big enough space for them to teleport to and not be seen by anyone.

"EW GROSSSSS" Carlos screamed.

"What?! What happened?!" Seb asked.

"I stepped in cow poop!"

Seb just stood there laughing at his boyfriend and his dramatics.

"It's not funny Sebbie! These were really expensive!!"

"Let me clean them up for you."

"NO, they're ruined! I need new ones. Off to the mall we go!"

"The mall again? We were just there."

"I know Sebbie, but I need new shoes now. How about this, we go to the mall to get me new shoes and then we can do whatever you want afterwards." Carlos said, kissing his boyfriend on the cheek.

"Fine.."

After a successful mall trip, it was only supposed to last an hour but turned into three, Carlos and Seb were getting ready to head to their next destination.

"Alright Seb, you stuck it out for me. Where to now babe?"

"The nursery!"

"THE WHAT?! I love you sweetie, but I'm not ready for a kid. I can barely take care of myself." Carlos said frantically.

"No, no. Not the kid nursery, the flower nursery!" Seb said cheerfully.

"Ohhh, okay didn't know that was such a thing. But I'm down, as long as you are happy."

"I am. Let's go!"

The two boys arrived at the nursery. Seb needed to go there to pick some new flowers for his garden at the farm and he wanted to surprise Carlos with something.

"Babe, it's so hot here. How much longer?"

"Not that much longer, Carlos. I promise. Now come here. I need your help with something."

Carlos walked over to where Seb was standing and noticed he had two pots in his hands.

"What are those?"

"Pots... for us."

"What do you mean for us?"

"Well, I know you wanted matching promise bracelets, but I thought of something better. What if we grew a plant together?"

"A plant? That's kind of random."

"Well, I wanted to grow something that will grow with us and our relationship." Seb said with a smile.

"Awww Sebbie, I actually love that. And I love you." Carlos said, giving Seb a small peck kiss.

"I love you too Carlos. Now what plants do we want to grow?"

"Mhmmm, maybe like an orchid or a rose or something romantic."

"I love that. There's some soil and seeds over there. Let's go take a look at them."

As the two were walking to the soil and seeds in the outdoor nursery, the heat was really getting to them.

"I know it's summer and all, but is it me or is it REALLY hot out here today? Like EXTRA HOT" Carlos asked his boyfriend.

"Yeah, you're right. It is really hot, I don't think Utah has ever been this hot before. What is up with today?"

"Do you smell that?"

"Yeah, it smells like burning leaves." Seb questioned.

"Yeah, it does.... LOOK!" Carlos shouted, pointing to the fire that was starting at the end of the nursery.

"OH NO! A FIRE! It's going to kill all of the plants and insects. We have to do something!"

Carlos looked around and noticed no one was around them. The field was big enough for them to morph and not be seen.

"Let's morph."

"Here?"

"Yeah, no one's around Sebbie. Let's do it."

"IT'S MORPHIN TIME!"

"Black Ranger Power"

"Silver Ranger Power"

The two rangers ran into the fire hoping to find a way to stop it, but what they didn't know was that fire was actually coming from a monster.

"What! A monster? I thought we were done with all of those. I thought we got rid of them." Seb asked Carlos.

"I thought so too, but we need to take it down fast!"

Seb used his laser blaster to knock the fire monster down, while Carlos threw his power axe like a boomerang to the nearest hose causing the water to end as much as the fire as possible. Carlos got a great idea to use the water hose all over the monster, hoping it would die out.

Seb used the water hose too, to put it into his laser cannons. While Carlos used the hose to put out the nursery fire, Seb used his cannons to put out the monster. The monster was retreating back to wherever it came from. The two boys saw a beam of light come down from the sky and sucked the monster up into it. They were so confused.

"What the hell was that?" Carlos asked, very confused.

"I-I have no idea. Let's get back to Madam Zordon and see what she has to say. This is all too crazy." Seb said.

"What about our plants?" Carlos asked.

"Let's take them with us." Seb said, taking Carlos's hand and teleporting the two back to the command center.

As the two arrived at the command center, they were greeted by Nini, Gina, Ashlyn, and Big Red all in their ranger uniforms. That's weird? Something must have happened, the two boys thought.

"Carlos, Seb! What are you two doing here?" Nini asked them.

"I can ask you the same thing.." Carlos said.

"Well, we ran into a monster at the beach on our... date" Gina interrupted.

"Us two, but at the farmer's market for our date." Ashlyn said.

"So, it's true.. The monsters are back?" Seb asked nervously.

All of the rangers nodded, feeling unsure of why or how this was happening.

"Sadly, it is true rangers. The monsters are back, but we do not know how or why they are here yet." Madam Zordon said to the rangers.

"Alpha and I are working on it, but we do not know anything yet." As Madam Zordon was telling, the alarm went off in the command center.

"Uh-no there's trouble rangers!" Alpha said, running to the screen.

"In another town??" Alpha questioned.

The monitor was focused on a random town that no one really knew of, but it suddenly zoomed in on something... more like someone.

"KOURTNEY?!" Nini shouted. She was shocked to see her best friend in that part of town.

"What is she doing there?" Gina asked.

"Doesn't matter! We have to help!" Nini said.

Just as the team was about to go out and help Kourtney, the alarm went off again, but this time somewhere else.

"WAIT! There's more trouble." Alpha warned the rangers.

"It's at the park!" Big Red shouted, as the monitor was zooming in closer. "Oh no."

"What is it Biggie?" Ashlyn asked her boyfriend.

"It's.. It's.. Ricky and EJ"
