Diane's POV.

"Poor Queen Diane.... it must be  hard knowing your people are in danger and can't do anything about it.  And it's all your fault.  You killed your baby... you killed your father... you are the reason why there is going to be a war and the rest of the people you love are going to die." Andromeda, as I've come to know her name is spoke in a malicious tone, taunting me with her words as she's done everyday in the last two weeks. She's taken the pleasure in torturing me and playing mind games with me and it's exhausting putting up with her.

Nicole brought me to a camp where Jerome's men train. I've been locked here since. I know in the vision that Artemis showed me.. when I left Dilan  broke down but I know my mate is strong and can hold on for a while but lately I've been feeling his hold slipping and I have to reassure him that I'm still out here... just that they've used a spell to conceal where they are . I realised we'll need to break through the spell and I've been working on that for the past week. And it's working but is really difficult because they have me chained in silver and she injects a little witch hazel in me to weaken me but not enough to tamper with my power cause they will abstract my powers from me in a few days time.

I finally have a link strong enough to communicate with Dilan. I miss him.
D-di-i-lan. I tried reaching out to him.

I felt his wolf through the link so I realised he hears me. I blocked his out so he cant feel the torture they're putting me through.

I smiled faintly.He responded with so much vulnerability and hope in his voice that broke me. He was in pain. And I couldn't comfort him.

Diane... Can you hear me? He try to get to me again . I-i am sorry. I managed to say to him. He didn't deserve all this pain just because some idiot is so power driven.. he deserves to be happy. My voice sounds so weak and defeated, nothing like a a queen should sound like. I have to be strong for him and my people. I can feel that it kills him to hear me  like that, like I've  lost all hope. No, no cherry I'm the one who is sorry. I shouldn't have let you go. But baby i need you to hold on a bit longer . I'll come get you okay? I need you to fight just a bit longer. I can't lose you... His voice sounds strained as he said the latter.

I know he is trying his best but they won't be able to reach me unless the protection on this place is down and I can't do it alone. I need Cassy. I hope he has told her I'm communicating with him.

Lou Lou... can you hear me? I hear Cassy tapping into my link with Dilan and try to reach out to me. Instead of talking I let her see some of my memories of what has happened  to me in the past days but make sure Dilan can't see.. it'll break him.

Andromeda was all she said and I could hear the fear in her voice. I was scared myself and my link was making me weak so I just said one last thing to her and tapped out of the link. Hurry please. I pleaded with her and closed the link. My breathing had become laboured and I know it was because of how strong Andromeda's black magic was. She was working with underworld magic which was very evil and strong. Everytime I try to communicate with someone outside a little slips into my blood and it was burning me.

I know by now she has realised what I tried to do cause when she entered the room she  looked enraged.
" You bitch!" She exclaimed and hit me so hard I bit my inner cheek and drew blood to avoid making any sound cause I realised when you made any sound you encourage her to continue. She feeds on fear.. or maybe it's the demon in her. I don't know why but for some reason I started laughing hard and shook my head in amusement. " You know I just realised something. Even if things go your way and we lose the war you won't live long enough to enjoy the benefits it would bring you guys cause you will die." I said in my own malicious tone and smirk at her and she looks stunned and scared  for a moment before covering it with a blank look.

" They don't know do they? That to achieve your selfish goals you sold your body and allowed a host to reside in you so you can harness your full power and it's slowly killing you." I continued and now she looked shell shocked as to how I know. Then she started smirking and it sent chills down my spine how evil she looked.

"You think you have me all figured out huh? That's cute. But there's a lot you still don't know about me sweet queen. Like the fact that I couldn't care less if I die or not-" She said and I laughed again. "Who are you fooling... me?  I know you are Jerome's second chance mate but he doesn't know. You haven't told him because you're scared he'll reject you. That he'll kill you because he thinks mates are weak." I smiled sinisterly at her. Bingo. I have her all figured out. And I've distracted her long enough for Cassy to work on the protective field around this place.

"Is it true?" Laverio asked, he sounded hurt and angry and she was startled cause she was so shocked she didn't realised he had joined us in the room. She looked worried now, " Laverio... it - it isn't what you think -" She stammered for the first time since I met her and flinched when her brother spoke because of how cold he sounded. Seems like a shows about to start and I really wish I had popcorn here to watch this..
