The few days that passed Dilan spent most of his time with his mate, trying to get to know each other. Dilan had Diane's permission to snuggle with her when she was sleeping. I know right? Who needs permission to snuggle with his mate? Anyways, they are getting along great and Diane was starting to develop feelings for him thanks to the bond. Diane's mum had contacted the witch who is supposed to help Diane with her powers and she would arrive in two days. Diane has found a way to avoid all the arguments between Tess and Mia which was beginning to drive her nuts.
Diane's POV.
I woke up quite early thanks to the sun's☀ rays streaming through the tiny openings in the curtains. Lately I wake up happy cause I'm able to sleep peacefully in Dilan's arms which I have to admit is so comfy. I stretched my hand to Dilan's side of the bed and realised he wasn't there. Maybe he had some work to do. I tried to resist sniffing his pillow but I couldn't. His smell is so intoxicating it was almost like I was addicted to it. I finally decided to get out of bed and go get something to eat cause for some reason I'm so starving my stomach was grumbling. I wash my face, brush my teeth and hold my hair up in a messy bun. I was in a lose tank top and some sweatpants so I decided I was decent enough to go down in.
I head down the stairs I had gotten used to but still hated. I spoke to Dilan about it but he said it was a form of exercise. As I was getting closer to the end of the stairs I heard squealing and yelling. I got downstairs in time to see a girl throw herself at Dilan and hug him and kiss him on the lips. "The hell-" I muttered to myself. Dilan was beaming with smiles and twirling her around causing her to laugh and he placed her down when he saw me standing there and she pulled him close to her still smiling. "Dily... I've missed you like crazy." she said in a high pitched voice with her hands still wrapped around his neck.
Who the heck does this bitch think she is throwing herself at my MATE!! Mia growled in my head and it escaped from my mouth which caused everyone present to turn to me. "Good, she's jealous. If I just keep it up she'll realise Dilan is mine and reject him." I heard the girl say in her thought. Oh, so is that what she thinks. Well two can play like that. I smiled and walked over to Dilan who wrapped his at around me pulling me to his side which made my plan easier and I turned his head to face me, wrapped an arm around his neck and pulled him in for a deep and passionate kiss that he didn't take long to respond to. Then I pulled away and smiled at him. "Good morning babe." I said with a huge smile plastered across my face and watched the girl from the corner of my eye who was glaring at me. "Good morning love." He responded as he nibbled on my ear which made me giggle and made the girl shoot me a look that was filled with hatred, jealousy and pure evilness.
Just then she smiled , " Dily bear... Who's this? " she said and I could feel the jealousy and disgust that was in her voice but it seemed Dilan didn't. He smiled, " Cherry, this is my childhood best friend Nicole. Nicole, this is Diane, my mate." He said proudly and smiled at me. "OMG!!! Dily... You found your mate and didn't tell me?" She squirmed and sounded hurt but I could tell it was all a charade to get his attention. Dilan walked over to her to 'console' her and I rolled my eyes getting tired of her concert. "I'll be in the kitchen if you need me." I said in an emotionless tone and walked away to the kitchen. There were two kitchens in the castle, the main kitchen was where all the cooking for occasions and general meals were made and then there is another kitchen which is a bit smaller and is for the royal family only. It was a personal kitchen with only one main chef and Priscilla since she's my personal help.
