In the middle of the movie, Riley falls asleep on my shoulder.
Gosh I think to myself Riley must not get to sleep at her house
I carry her upstairs, and lay her in my bed. I cover her up, kiss her forehead, and wisper "sleep tight". As I walk away she grabs my arm.
"stay. " she whispers
"okay, just give me a second. I need to turn off the TV. " I reply
I head down stairs to do what I said, I notice her phone on the side of the couch.
I quickly skim through it, trying to find who Max is. I know he's Riley's moms boyfriend. I cant find anything. I lock her phone and sit it on the table.
I walk back upstairs, and Riley is sitting up, barley keeping her eyes open. So I climb into bed with her.
"can I lay on your chest? " she ask
I'm just noticing I'm still shirtless.
"yeah" I say smiling
So she lays her head on my chest, and falls to sleep. I reach over and set my alarm to 5:30. That's the time Riley has to go, my mom usually gets home at 5:45.
Then I scoot closer to Riley and fall asleep.
