After everything that has happened these past few days, I'm really enjoying it. It's getting cooler though, so I got Riley some of my mom's old sweats.
I turned on Riley's phone to see how the weather is, and there's a voicemail under the name M.
"hey" Riley says coming down the stairs.
"who's M? " I ask, suspicion clear in my voice. She immediately turns pale, her eyes get glassy and she runs upstairs.
I run after her. She runs into a bathroom and locks it. I bang on the door.
"Riley please let me in!" I yell
I can hear her crying, and mumbling no over and over again.
I go to my moms room and get a Bobby pen. I run back quickly and pick the lock.
I walk in and Riley is curled up into a ball on the floor.
"who is m and what did he do to you? " I ask
"max" she says
"I've got you, don't worry." I say
"you know, you don't know the full story." she mumbles
"Riley, will you please tell me " I reply
" he does more than beats me. " she says crying harder
"what, what else could he do? " I ask
"rape! " she scream whispers.
My eyes get wide, I'm stunned her mom would allow any of this.
"go to my room and lay down, I'll be right back." I say
"okay" she says
I run downstairs and grab her phone, I listen to the voicemail.
"Riley! " I hear a raspy voice.
Hey guys, how is it?
My Wi-Fi is back
