Riley's P. O. V.
When I wake up, I'm laying on Lucas' chest. I look up slowly to see if he is still sleeping, he is. I just lay there listing to his heartbeat. 'I love him.' I think to myself ' I just know he'll leave me, once he gets tired of me. '
"Riley?" I hear Lucas mumble
"yeah? " I say looking up at him.
"your up? " he questions
"yeah, why?" I ask
"oh it just shocked me." he replies
"how? " I ask giggling
"I don't know, I'm sleepy!" he replies giggling too.
"wanna go get some food? " I ask
"sure. " he replies
We eat a small bag of chips, and drink a juice pouch. After lunch he tries to tickle me, then it ends up turning into a play fight. He ends up hovering over me with his arms on the floor. We are both completely out of breath.
"lucas" I say
"riley" he says back
"do you really love me? Because everyone gets tired of me eventually, and I just want to save myself from the worst pain in my life, that is if you don't really love me" I say
"of course I love you! I'm in love with you! I never wanna let this go! I'll do anything I can to keep you safe! Riley, I need you in my life just to live! " as soon as he says that, he lowers himself onto his forearms. My heart is pounding in my ears, because our bodies are touching. My breathing gets shaky. The he kisses me.
after about three minuets, I break the kiss
"and I need you in my life to live. " I say and we continue kissing.
