Riley sits up in bed, she's been asleep for about three hours. She looks back at me I look away.
"what? " she ask
"Riley... " I say
"tell me. " she says concern in her voice
"Riley, your mom... Didn't make it. " I stutter
Her eyes filled with tears and she turned away. I crawl off the bed and run to the there side, till I can easily get her to look at me.
She stands and wraps her arms around my neck and cries on my chest. I stroke her hair, trying to calm her down.
I finally get her to lay down. I walk over to my side of the bed and lay down. I wrap my arm around her waist and pull her close. She lays there just hugging me.
"I told you. " she mumbles
"told me what? " I ask
"everyone leaves me after a while. " she says
I then lay her flat on the mattress, and hover over her with my arms.
"I wont" I say leaning down to kiss her.
After a while of balancing my body on my arms I lay back flat on my back again. I bring her body as close as it can be to me.
"I love you. " I say
"I love you too. " she says
