EVERYONE GATHERED ON the lab except Thor, who had flied off to search for the Iron Legionnaire that took the scepter when they were distracted.

"All our work is gone," Bruce announced. "Ultron cleared out. He used the Internet as an escape hatch."

"Ultron," Steve muttered.

"He's been in everything. Files, surveillance. Probably knows more about us than we know about each other." Natasha explained.

(Y/N) tried not to feel anxious about that.

"He's in your files, he's in the Internet. What if he decided to access something a little more exciting?" Rhodey asked.

"Nuclear codes," Maria stated.

"Nuclear codes." Rhodey continued. "Look, we need to make some calls, assuming we still can."

"Nukes? He said he wanted us dead." (Y/N) said.

"He didn't say 'dead.' He said 'extinct.'" Steve corrected.

"He also said he killed somebody," Clint reminded.

"There wasn't anyone else in the building." Maria informed.

"Yes, there was." Tony cut in, walking into the center of the room and projected a 3D hologram of JARVIS's program.

"What?" Bruce gasped. "This is insane."

"JARVIS was the first line of defense. He would have shut Ultron down. It makes sense," Steve said.

"No. Ultron could have assimilated JARVIS. This isn't strategy. This is rage."

Thor walked into the room with loud steps, grabbing onto Tony's neck and lifting him off the ground without a warning.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa!"

"It's going around."

"Come on, use your words, buddy." Tony choked out.

"I have more than enough words to describe you, Stark." Thor growled.

"Thor. The legionnaire." Steve interrupted.

Thor dropped Tony to the ground and turned to Steve. "Trail went cold about 100 miles out, but it's headed north. And it has the scepter. Now we have to retrieve it, again."
