"All right, what do you see?" Steve said through the radio placed in her ear.
"Standard beat cops," Wanda replied, and (Y/N) could see her looking around the place without subtlety. "Small station. Quiet street. It's a good target."
"There's an ATM on the south corner, which means?" Steve asked.
"Cameras." Wanda answered.
"Both cross streets are one-way." Steve said.
"So, compromised escape routes." Wanda guessed.
"Means our guy doesn't care about being seen. He isn't afraid to make a mess on the way out," Steve explained. "You see that Range Rover halfway up the block?"
"Yeah, the red one? It's cute." Wanda said.
"It's also bulletproof, which means private security, which means more guns, which means more headaches for somebody. Probably us," Natasha spoke up.
"You guys know I can move things with my mind, right?"
"Yeah, we've been over that," (Y/N) drank from her coffee before steadying her wig, which was the opposite of her (h/c) hair. "This wig is causing me to sweat, guys. I think we need to hurry this up."
"I told you not to wear it," Natasha said, and (Y/N) could practically see the smile on her face.
"I had to. Unlike you, I take being undercover very seriously, not just a hat with sunglasses," (Y/N) defended.
"(Y/N)," Steve spoke through comms.
"Sorry, love," (Y/N) shrugged her shoulders and took a sip from her coffee.
"Pretend you didn't hear that and take my advice," Natasha interrupted. "Looking over your shoulder needs to become second nature."
"Anybody ever tell you you're a little paranoid?" Sam questioned.
"I have, glad you're finally noticing," (Y/N) confessed and felt Natasha's glare on her back.
