Fully dressed up in my uniform, I left my room. "Ben? What are you doing here?" I sat down with a raised brow. "I was nearby," he replied, studying my face. "Ah..." I said and grabbed an apple. "So, uhm... your face..." he trailed off. "I don't want to talk about it," I grumbled. "You went viral on Facebook–" he began. "I don't want to talk about that either," I sulked. "You know... I really think you shouldn't... be doing this," he said. I rolled my eyes, "did my mom hire you?" I asked. He shook his head, "no, it's genuine," he said. "Well, I can make my own choices and I am going to continue it," I said, getting up and grabbing my shoes. "You want a ride?" he asked. "No, I am good," I sulked. "Are you sure? It's quite some time walking," he said. "I take the bus," I said.

"I am offering you a ride," he said. "Honestly, Ben. I don't need a ride, okay? I take the bus like any other day. If you excuse me, I need to hurry or I'll be late," I said,— grabbing my keys off the counter. "Bye mom." I hugged her and strode over to the door. "Bye Ben." I shut the door behind me and drove over to the bus stop. "Paige, wait." Ben ran after me. "You'd want to drive in my new car?" He pointed at the fancy black Porche Cayman 718. "Please? Have a ride with me," he said. He unlocked the car. "It's a fancy car but... I'd rather take the bus," I said. "Why?" He asked and grabbed my wrist. "Ben, stop it." I yanked my arm back. "I am taking the bus. I don't want a ride, okay?" I snapped. "Jeez, just leave me alone," I sulked and walked off.

Ben ran after me and blocked my way. "You can't reject my offer," he scoffed. "Even if Sunstreaker would ask me to drive with him I would still say no. I like my trip by bus, okay. I don't need a car. So, please, don't bother me," I sulked and walked off. I was quite angered. I hate it when people keep pushing me to do something, sadly enough, it happens quite often lately. When I arrived at the base, I was still in a grumpy mood. I was too early so I sat down in the training hall, waiting. "You look very grumpy." I got up. "Sunstreaker... I-- no, it's fine, it's nothing," I said and waved my hand. "Are you sure?" he asked. I nodded, "yeah, it's nothing," I said and approached. "You are early today as well," I said. "I was already awake at four. Listen, you have an hour until your training starts but since you are already here... maybe you'd like to do some basic stuff?" he asked. "With you?" I asked, too energetic. My grumpiness faded instantly.

"You see another mech here?" he mocked. He took a battle stance. "You changed your mind?" I asked. "Nah, I still don't like training humans. These are just some basics," he stated. He was so gentle and patient, I wouldn't think he had this side. We stopped after 45 minutes."Thank you so much for this, Sunstreaker." He shrugged and grabbed his leg holster, attaching it back around his left thigh. "Yeah, whatever," he sulked. "No, I am serious about it..." he glanced at me. "It's fine," he snapped and walked off.  I sucked in a breath and turned as the other soldiers walked in. "Pencil," they mocked bumping into me. I groaned and stepped away. Thanks to Sunsxtreaker today went much better than previous days. I gained more confidence.

After my shift, I walked up to Sunstreaker. "It went much better today. Still alive." He briefly looked over my body. "Good for you," he mocked. "Do you think that I can be just as good as you?" This drew his attention. "As good as me?" he mocked. "Yeah, I admire you," I mumbled. "Who doesn't." He smirked a little. "You can always try," he said before he walked off again. I felt excitement rise up. I left the base, my mind somewhere in the clouds. I couldn't wait to tell my mom. While I was waiting for the bus to arrive, a black porch pulled up. "Hop in, Paige," he said. "We had this discussion this morning," I snapped. "Just hop in the damn car," he growled. I shook my head and hopped in, buckling up. "Happy?" I snapped, looking outside. "Yup." I shook my head and ignored him. "So, how was your day?" he asked. "Very good actually, thank you for asking," I sulked sarcastically and  I fiddled with the sleeve of my uniform.

"You know... maybe we should take some distance." He raised a brow. "Why?" he asked. "Because... you have pissed me off twice within 12 hours," I replied. Ben snorted and didn't respond to it. As soon as he pulled up at my house, I hopped out and marched over to the front door. "You are early," mom said. "Ugh, Ben kept complaing about his stupid car and that he wanted me to drive with him. I told him this morning to piss off but he wouldn't listen... so, I told him it's better if we take some distance," I stated. "Anyway, you never guess... Sunstreaker and I trained. Like... only with the two of us. No one else. He was so patient and sweet. I have never seen that side of him before." My mom hummed and walked over to the kitchen. "He said I am good," I added. My mom glanced at me. "Jazz told me that Sunstreaker told Lennox to recruit me. He sees potential in me."

"Oh really?" she asked. I nodded, "yup. I was thinking... Maybe he wants to have lunch with me. Do you think he would say yes?" I asked. My mom shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know him," she said and passed me. "Didn't he ignore you last time too?" she asked. "That was different. He showed up but Ben was there," I said. She hummed and walked off. I headed towards my room and grabbed my phone. Since I am Ratchet's VIP patient, I decided to text him. I never texted an Autobot before and hesitated for a moment. He had given me his number in case of an emergency. I shrugged and sat down.

- Hi, Ratchet, I was wondering if you could give me Sunny's number.

I took a shower as soon as I had sent the message. Maybe he doesn't respond to it and maybe he does. Fifty-fifty. After my shower, Ratchet had indeed texted me back which surprised me even more. I thought he would ignore me.

- I am not responsible for what he will do to you. HIs comm number: 34658293

I was more than pleased and sent a quick 'thank you' back to Ratchet's before I programmed Sunstreaker's number in my phone.Although Sunstreaker hadn't given it to me, I did feel sort of special. How many girls have his number in their phone?  Probably zero, only me.
