I had Sunny next to me. He was watching a horror movie and I was snoozing. Although, after his story about his first girlfriend he killed because he wanted to, I didn't feel that comfortable around him anymore. It's sad, because I still like in some way and I know he can be nice if he wants too. I just can't trust him.

My dad had been operated in the hospital and my mom was with him. I just couldn't bring myself to visit him after all he had done and what had happened. Sunstreaker was really cool about it, not bothered and told me it was my own choice. Sometimes it's nice to have a mech that's so straight forward and calm as Sunstreaker. I like it when people tell me what to do or just be straight forward.

I grasped his hand, getting his attention. "What?" He asked. "Nothing." Sunstreaker studied me for some time before he shifted and laid on his side, facing me. "Why do you still wear your leg holster?" I asked. "Because I can."
"But it's not comfortable," I said. I hummed and grasped his hand again. "It always surprises me how much it going on in your mind."

"I bet it's not a good thing," he said. "It makes you scary sometimes," I mumbled. "You knew what you had to deal with, Paige," he said. I hummed softly and pressed my face against his. "I don't want people to hurt you. Only I am allowed to hurt you," he mumbled. I snorted and closed my eyes for a moment. I felt his hot breath fan down my face and although I wasn't sure how much he actually liked me, I did like him a lot. I will always like him.

The next couple of days, I was busy moving and sadly enough neglected the base a little bit. I looked around the apartment I bought. It's not big, but it feels big for some reason. Perhaps because I am all alone and sad about what had happened between me and my parents. Perhaps I am better off without them but I somehow still miss my mother. She hasn't treated me really well last few weeks but she did care about me in someway. I sat down and looked around the mess for a moment until my phone rang.

"Hi, Sunny."

"You are ghosting my phone calls for three days," he snapped. "I am sorry, I was busy and had no time," I apologized. "No time? I feel so insulted right now. How can you not have time for me?" He scoffed. "If you only knew how big the mess is here, you would understand," I muttered. He hummed, "has your mother called?" He asked. "No, she's still at the hospital," I replied. Sunstreaker snorted, "stupid glitch."

"Anyway, I won't bother you any longer," he sighed. "Wait, I do have time," I said and sat back on the couch, resting my feet on some boxes. "What's going on? I can hear it in your voice," he scoffed. "My neighbors are weird. He's like... 50 years old or so and shows up at my door nearly four times a day and— he's just really weird. Last night he sneaked up on me when I got home," I muttered. "Not everyone is a psychopath like me," he said. "I know but... I just— I don't know. I can't sleep, all these strange new noises and I keep listening if I hear anything. I can't even try to sleep without the lights off. Am I getting paranoïde?" I asked. He sighed, "I guess you do. What are you afraid off?" He mocked.

"I am probably freaking out about nothing. It's just... I had a limited budget so you know, the people in this flat aren't the most nicest. I think that's the problem. Maybe that scares me," I said. "What kind of people?" He asked. "Drug and alcohol addicted," I replied. "Or people like my neighbor," I sulked. He hummed, "can you please come? I have slept three hours in four days."

"Alright, alright. Fine, I will come and keep you company if it makes you feel safe but... honestly? Asking a psychopath to keep you company?" He mocked. I shrugged, even he couldn't see it. He snorted, "I won't kill you for the time being," he scoffed and disconnected the call. "Very comforting," I mocked and got up. Sunny arrived twenty minutes later and looked around. His gaze already told me enough. "I honestly thought you gave me the ring adres. You're right, this isn't a good place for you," he mocked. I sat down on the couch and shrugged. "I can probably just kick in the door without effort and kill you in your sleep or... climb up the balcony since you're only on the first floor and stab you to death or something."

"So, I am not paranoïde?" I mocked. "Well, I had to park my alt-mode three blocks away because this neighborhood is quite shady," he scoffed. "I brought us some food," he said and showed me the plastic back. "You're my favorite mech of all times," I purred. "I already was," he mocked and we sat down. "Do you have cutlery?" He asked. "Uh, no... not yet. I haven't really eaten the last four days," I said honestly.  "Well guess w ruse our hands for the time being," he scoffed. We are in silence and when we finished I took a showers. "Where's your bed?" Sunstreaker asked as he looked around the empty bedroom. "Uhm, yeah... my mom left a list what I could take so... it's just the mattress for now."

Sunstreaker looked around. "There's like... molt on the walls and ceiling, the red carpet is... sticky and nearly grey..." he cut himself off. I was too tired to argue and patted the spot beside me on the mattress. He sighed and wrapped his arm around me so I could use him as a pillow. "I don't know, Sunny. I don't know what to do or where to go," I sulked. He sighed and rubbed my head, "go to sleep, alright? We will figure something out," he sighed. I nodded and shut my eyes, falling in a deep slumber.
