Matty reflecting on a few days before.

Late September/early November.

I didn't know there was anything different about that day. I felt great. At least in the morning, but throughout the day I got a strange feeling in the pit of my stomach.

I remember most of the day, as I did the past few days. There were small details that would probably come to me later.

What I do remember is this. I woke up to a bright sun shining in through Sky's living room window. I got up and made one of her favorite meals, because lately I noticed she had been even more quiet then usual. I made over easy eggs with hashbrowns, bacon and toast. She woke up when I was almost finished with her plate, she saw it and smiled. I had missed her smiled more often lately.

It seemed everything was changing these days. I still loved Skylar with all my heart, but she wasn't talking to as much and we started spending less and less time together. I still stayed at her house almost every other night but we didn't go out much. I spent most of my day time with Adam. She said she had lots of errands to run, or she wasn't feeling good. I started getting even more concerned.

To try and make her return to her normal self I surprised her later that day and took her out to lunch. She was a little resilient to this idea but she came along.

We went to some hole in the wall chinese food place, because I remembered how much she loved chinese food. I tried to make small talk but it was so awkward. It was like dining with a whole new person. She had changed so much, I had no idea why.

We came home that late afternoon and for some bizarre reason it began to rain.

Skylar and I sat down on the couch togethe and I decided to ask her about what was going on.

From there, it was all downhill.
