- Eddie

"Alright, where is Shaun?" I say.

"His bed is over there, let's make a beeline there and grab him."

"Okay, let's avoid violence."

I step off the flights of beds and reach the ground. Many people are fighting, but we avoid them and sneak past without any trouble.

"Alright, Shaun has to be around here."

"You check that way, I'll check this side. Shaun might be between the bunks and not necessarily the top."

"Alright, I'll scan the top."

I begin scaling the set of bunks and see Shaun trying to fight a guy off on the top.

"VECTOR! COME UP HERE!"

He doesn't respond, so I go to help Shaun.

He's being choked out by another person, so with not much time to waste I run over and ram him off of the bunk altogether.

He hits a bunk adjacent to us, he just runs away without saying anything else.

"Hey, Shaun, are you alright?"

"Doesn't matter. Why'd you do that?"

"Do what? Save you?"

"You saved HIM. I was going to take him out, you know."

"You looked like you were having trouble."

"Then you could have at least shoved him all the way to the floor instead of saving him... bastard..."

"What?"

This isn't Shaun. This is Shaun of course, but this isn't Shaun behaviour.

"I might as well take the chance now."

He grabs me by the collar and pulls me over the ledge.

"What the hell are you doing Shaun?!"

There is full seriousness in his eyes.

"You're money."

He lets go of me and I fall down very, very fast.

As soon as I hit the ground I don't feel a thing.

Legitimately nothing in my system. I can faintly hear Vector at the top of the bunk.

"Did I just see you do that?"

"Do what?"

"Throw Eddie off the bunk beds."

"I didn't."

"Why did you have to kill him like that?"

A group of people surround me with their sharp weapons, but I can't do anything about it.

I can see Shaun looking down at me from the very top of the bunk.

"It was the easiest way."
