Chapter 19

Silverstone's POV

"Why are you so against my father!" I growl at Duskflower.

"Tell her Jaywing. Tell her what you did to me."

"I convinced Nightclan's leader to kick her out of her clan because of what she did to Goldheart" Jaywing tells me.

"And..?" Duskflower hisses

"And I.. killed her."

"You destroyed everything I had!" Duskflower exclaims.

"Jaywing, why did you have to kill her?" I ask

"She attacked me first! I had no choice! She threatened to kill my family. She threatened to kill you."

"And you only were a kit at that time. I had to protect you. So I killed her." Jaywing tells me.

"Now I'm going to kill you!" Duskflower hollers.

"Duskflower watch out because I can turn you into stone!" I say.

"Oh no you won't!"

Before I can say another word, Duskflower lunges herself at me, and knocks me over.

I get back up, ready to attack. I try to turn her into stone.

Why isn't it working?!

"Jaywing! Go get help!" I yell

"Don't even think about it!" Hisses Duskflower.

I look to see other Dark Forest cats, along with Frostshine, and her mate.

We're surrounded!

Duskflower attacks me and her claws rake down my side.

I try to get back up, but I feel fresh pain ooze through my body.

My vision starts to get blurry and I can't see anything.

"Goodbye, Silverstone" growls Duskflower in my ear.

She pushes me and I feel myself falling.

Down...
Down...
Down...

Pain pierced through me.

Then everything went black.
