Chapter 12

Silverstone's POV

I can't believe it. My father actually forbid me to be even close to Goldheart!

"Silverstone" says Jaywing

"What?" I respond annoyingly.
"You do understand when I mean by forbidden, don't you?"

"Yes-"

"I mean it Silverstone. I don't want you near him. That cat is dangerous.. After what he did.." Jaywing trails off

"What did he do?" I ask.

"I can't tell you. A promise is a promise. But it's for your own good. Now go get some rest. It's been a long day"

What did Goldheart do that made Jaywing hate him so much? This is all so frustrating! Now I may never see Goldheart again..

I'm lost in thought until I bump into some cat.

"Hey!" I meow. I look over to see who I bump into, and I realize it's Oakleaf, a dark , red ish brown tom with hazel eyes. I've known him since kits, and we're sort of friends.

"Oh, sorry Silverstone! I wanted to ask you something." He tells me.

"You're fine, and what is it you want to ask?"

"Um, well, I've seen that you have been really stressed lately, about that Goldwhatevercat and-"

"His name is Goldheart" I snap.
"And I'm not stressed about him! I-I don't care about him anymore."

"Oh. Well sorry. I was just wondering if you wanted to go hunting with me?" He mews softly.

Does he..?
No, he doesn't. We're just friends. That's all.

"Yeah sure! Just two friends.. Going hunting." I say.

"Yeah I meant as friends! Of course! It's not like we're mates or anything. Come on, let's go" He says as he puts his tail on my shoulder.

I pad along after him thinking.

Yes, we are friends. Nothing more.

Ugh I haven't been updating lately :(

But guess what! My birthday was on Tuesday!!!!

Anyways, WHO IS THAT OAKLEAF GUY?

He is gonna be important, and he's a mystery. So pay attention to him.
