Goldheart's POV

Starclan, please don't let Mistkit fall!

"Silverstone I'm going to get Mistkit, you stay here!" I tell her.

"No you won't! We'll stay here and have a nice talk. All four of us." Oakleaf growls.

"But Mistkit will fall!" Silverstone wails.

"The sooner we finish talking, the faster you get to save her." Oakleaf mews calmly.

I growl softly, forcing my fur to lie flat.

I swear by Starclan once I'm done with you.... I'll.. I'll..

"What do you want?" Silverstone tells Oakleaf as she breaks into my thoughts.

"I want Goldheart dead. I want him gone. I don't want to see him ever again. Not even in Starclan."

"What! No! Never!" Silverstone shouts.

"Time is flying, and Mistkit will be falling.. Soon" replies Oakleaf.

"Silverstone, it's okay, I'll fight him." I say to her.

"Goldheart, no!" Bronzetail and Silverstone say.

"What happens if he kills you? I won't be able to see you again! Not even in Starclan! You'll be gone! Forever!" Silverstone wails.

"Everything will be okay."

"No it won't be! Goldheart, I can't stop thinking about you! I.. I love you."

My fur feels hot all over.

She loves me!

"Silverstone, I love you too!" I meow and I give her a lick on the cheek.

"When I'm fighting Oakleaf, you go bring the kits down. Tell Bronzetail to keep watch. I'll distract Oakleaf. But hurry!" I whisper in her ear.

"Okay, but Goldheart, don't kill him.. Please."

"Fine. But he's not getting away from me that easy.."

"Oakleaf! I'm ready to fight!" I yowl

Mistkit, hold on!

I watch my apponent, Oakleaf. He lunges at me. He flips onto my back and once he is directly flying onto of me, he kicks me with his
back legs and claws and sends me flying into the air straight up. Then I
fall on the floor hard and he jabs me in the neck and with his other paw
he stabs me in the pelt.

"Ha! Did you think that you're so strong because you are a Starclan cat! Think again, Goldheart!" Oakleaf hisses.

Come on.. Pull yourself together!

"Actaully, I don't think that I can beat you. I know I will." I hiss and I claw at his face.

I get up in a few heartbeats.

"Let's finish this" I hiss

I sized up against Oakleaf. I charged at him and at the last moment, I leaped over his body and in mid-air I clawed across the top of his head. Oakleaf then reared up on his hind paws trying to reach me. When I landed, his back was to mine while I was on his hind paws. I then leaped at his back and grabbed the back of his neck for the killing bite.

"Don't kill him.. Please" Silverstone's voice echoed through my head.

"Go away Oakleaf, and never return. Because next time, I will kill you."
