Fred Weasley stood leaning on a tree facing the Black Lake, as he watched the legs of the Giant Squid splash water around, luckily, far away from the shore. His nose and cheeks tinted red because of the cold, and a white mist coming out of his mouth. The January weather had been more than chilly, and Fred was thankful he was wearing gloves, otherwise, he feared his fingers might freeze.
As he waited for Sara García on the spot they had named as "our" he reflected on the twist his life had made during the school year. Not 5 months ago he had found himself talking to the girl for the first time ever, not realizing how that single act would affect his life in the near future. He couldn't deny he was left amazed by her the day of their first interaction, and that he had wanted to get to know her better, but he really couldn't have predicted that she would eventually become his girlfriend and that he would be so crazy about her. When he approached Sara for the first time, he hadn't done it with seconds intentions, yes, of course, he thought her beautiful, and yes, he had been intrigued by the girl and the way she had talked back to the "Barbie wannabe" as she called her, but that was it. Then when they talked for the first time, he was left starstruck. And what could he say about the first prank they had pulled together? Fred had never felt like that in his entire life, never had been so hypnotized by a woman like that, never had felt that rush in his chest, never had wanted to follow that instinct that he had when it came to girls. Sara had been different, without even trying, he had him wrapped around her finger, and he was more than happy about it. The way she had completely trusted him, the way his hand seemed to be perfect for hers, the way she had made him stop in the Astronomy Tower because her lungs were worn out. And what about the way she had returned his kiss when he walked her to her common room? When he kissed her, he didn't even think about it, it was what felt good, but he never thought Sara would return his kiss like that, so passionate, intense, rough, and sweet at the same time. Probably, that was when he realized he had to pursue the girl, and he was so glad he had done it.
All those new sensations were new to him. He was usually a fling kind of guy, never dated the same girl for longer than a month, but with Sara, he wanted to date her and never stop. He was in love with her, he was pretty sure, and it all felt new and exciting. Of course, he hadn't told her that yet, he didn't want to freak her out, but he was for sure in love, and he loved it. It didn't matter the constant teasing from George and Lee, it was all worth it.
While still looking at the Black Lake, Fred wore a smile on his face as he thought about Sara, when he heard soft steps approaching. Turning his head to his right, he saw her. A yellow beanie on her head, her Hufflepuff scarf wrapped around her neck, and a black coat. Her hands in its pockets. Her cheeks were rosy, like his, and a big smile on her lips. When she spotted him, her hand got out of her pocket and she waved at him, still smiling, and fastening her pace to reach him sooner.
"Hey" she breathed out as she wrapped her arms around his neck and brought him down to her level. The kiss took Fred by surprise, Sara wasn't normally affectionate in public, but well, everybody should have been at the Quidditch match, so that was probably why she didn't care. Wrapping his arms around her waist and bringing her close to his body, he returned the kiss eagerly. Her mouth opened and he took the opportunity to slip his tongue against hers, a soft moan escaped her. Smiling through the kiss, Sara bit his bottom lip and ran it between her own, sucking. The action only seemed to fire up the redhead more, and he leaned back again against the tree, bringing Sara with him, his hands finding their way to her arse, giving it a soft squeeze. Instead of pulling away, as he thought she would, she pressed herself more tightly against his body, and even in the freezing cold, he could feel his body warming up. Sara removed her lips from his and he let out a groan. To his surprise, they attached to his neck, the girl moved slightly to the side his Gryffindor scarf, and she sucked on the spot she knew made him go week. Then she slowly pecked him up to his ear, nibbling on his earlobe, and letting a warm breath out of her mouth. A chill ran over the redhead's body. But to Fred's displeasure, as fast as she had attacked his neck, she had removed herself from it, she had pecked him on the lips with a smile on her face.
