Sara sat next to Matilda sighing, "I have a bad feeling about this pink wannabe barbie".
Matilda raised an eyebrow at her friend "What is a barbie?"
"Well it's...it doesn't matter, it's just a muggle thing" Sara replied, and Matilda looked to the front of the class waiting for the lesson to start. Matilda was Sara's roommate and best friend, well besides Cedric, but he wasn't with them anymore so, she only had one best friend now. She was a kind and very sweet person, well much kinder and sweeter than she was, Sara thought. Sometimes she didn't even know why the sorting hat had put her in Hufflepuff. She was a good friend and a loyal person, but most of the time she was bitter and hated at least 70% of the people she met. She wasn't always like that, but after Cedric's death, she didn't want to get close to anyone anymore, what was the big deal of having too many friends? They would end up dead anyways.
The wannabe barbie cleared her throat and the class looked up at her, "By Merlin even her face is pink" Sara thought. "Nastily exhausting wizarding test, or better known as NEWTS. Study hard, and you'll be rewarded, fail to do so, and the consequences may be severe" Umbridge began, looking at the 17 year olds as if she were talking to 5 year old kids "now, wands away and take out your books, open the first chapter and begin reading please". Sara took her book and opened the first chapter "Basic defensive magical theory", "was she for real?" Sara thought, this surely must be a joke. After reading the first few lines, she had had enough, this couldn't be right, so she raised her hand "excuse me, professor".
Umbridge left her tea on the table "yes dear?".
"When are we going to star practicing with our wands?" Sara asked, and the professor emitted what Sara thought sounded like a childish giggling.
"Why would you need to use your wands?" Sara's face fell.
"We are not going to use magic?" Matilda asked.
"Students will raise their hands to speak in my class Miss?"
"Clark" answered Matilda.
"Well Miss Clark, I don't see why you would need to use your wands at all in this class". A girl from the Gryffindor quidditch team raised her hand then, and Umbridge looked at her so she could speak.
"We are not going to learn defensive spells then Professor?" she asked.
"Well I don't see why you would need to learn defensive spells" she replied with a weird crocked smile.
"Well what if someone attack us?" one of the Weasley twins said suddenly.
"I said to raise your hand when you wish to speak Mr.?"
"Weasley" the read head replied raising his hand.
"Well Mr. Weasley who would want to attack children as yourselves?" that was it, Sara had had enough of the shit this pink toad was saying.
"Um well I don't know" Sara said pretending to think "what about Lord Voldemort?"
The whole class fell into a complete silence. Sara could hear the rapid breaths of Matilda beside her, and the quiet muffled scream that a girl in the sit next to her emitted.
Umbridge looked at Sara "what is your name?" she asked.
"Sara García" she replied with her voice firm and steady.
"Well let me make something clear for you Miss García, and for the rest of your classmates" the professor said in a quiet whisper "There are rumors that a certain Dark wizard has returned from the death. This is a lie".
