Sara and Fred stood in the middle of the central square of Sajarraza, Sara's hometown, waiting for Sara's brother to pick them up, well, pick her up. She had travelled home the muggle way, not wanting to go through the trouble of getting a portkey and not wanting to freak her parents out, after all, they weren't really used to the magic world.
"I can't believe it, the first time you bring me here, and I'm dead" Fred said jokingly.
"Well, it's not as if we had much time to come here after we left Hogwarts".
"True, but this town is beautiful Sara, when you save me, we have to come here again" Sara gave him a small smile.
"You have an awful lot of faith in Hermione and me" Fred smiled kindly at her.
"I know you will save me. Besides, Hermione is helping you, and we all know she is the brain of the group" he said still smiling and touching the side of his head with his index finger.
"What am I then?"
"You are the heart of course, you are the one who's putting this whole operation together" he said smiling sweetly. Sara smiled too, and then looked at him suspiciously.
"And what are you?" Fred smirked.
"The looks" Sara rolled her eyes at him, trying to hide the smile that was growing on her lips. She then adjusted her sunglasses that were falling down her nose and looked up at the sky. She closed her eyes enjoying the warm of the sun falling on her skin. Being just the second week of April, the weather in Sajarraza was very hot, and Sara had always liked that.
Suddenly, a red truck with a big German shepherd on its pickup, stopped in front of them. The window rolled down, showing a smiling ten year old girl.
"Sara!" the girl exclaimed happily. Fred noticed Sara smiled brightly, more brightly than he had ever seen her smile since the war.
"Hi dwarf" she said softly to the girl, who frowned.
"I'm ten now, you have to stop calling me that!" she complained. Sara laughed.
"Never" she responded, then she looked passed the girl and saw her older brother sitting in the driving seat with a big smile on his face "Hi Maxi"
"Hey" he said still smiling. Then he got of the truck to give her sister a tight hug "missed you"
"Yeah, it's been too long" Sara said still hugging the man.
"Don't let it happen again" he told her, letting go of her to pick up from the ground Sara's bags, then he put them on the truck's pickup.
"Hi Moro!" Sara said to the dog, grabbing his head and scratching the back of his ears. The dog gave a happy bark and ran his tongue across Sara's face, greeting her. The girl let out a laugh, wiping her face with the hem of her shirt.
"Alright, let's go!" Maxi half yelled and got inside the truck again. Sara copied her brother's actions and got in the back seats of the truck closing the door. When she looked outside the window, she saw Fred, still standing on the sidewalk and glaring at her. Automatically she let out a giggle, and motion for him to get inside the truck. Fred just passed through the door and sat beside Sara.
"Thank you for not forgetting about me" he said sarcastically, and Sara smiled at him apologetically.
The road to her parents' house was a short one since her father owned a vineyard in the outsides of Sajarraza, about 30 minutes away from the town, and the group mostly spend it talking about what they had been up to since the last time they had seen each other. Aurora, Maxi's daughter loudly complained about the fact that they didn't see Sara enough, and that she missed her too much.
