"Stop changing your clothes, you're making me nervous, honestly you look great Sara" Matilda told her friend while she was looking at her reflection in the mirror of their dorm room.
"Do you really think so? I don't know why I'm so nervous really, it's just Weasley" she said sighing. She looked good she thought looking at the mirror, but great? She wasn't so sure, and why in the world was she feeling so nervous because of this.
"Yeah, Weasley, the one who just two days ago you fully snogged outside our common room, and today, and he flirts with you but you're not really a thing?-"
"Alright, alright I get it, but still this is so unlike me" Sara looked at herself one more time in the mirror, her jeans hugged her legs perfectly, she had a mustard turtleneck sweater on and over it a soft black leather jacket, in her head a black beanie with a light grey pompon that fell on the back of her head.
"Really Sara, you look really good, stop worrying" Matilda told her smiling. Sara smiled back and took a deep breath.
"Alright, I'm ready"
"Awww look at him Lee, he's all nervous" George said chuckling at his brother behaviour. The twins and Lee Jordan stood outside the great hall, Fred waiting for Sara García to arrive, the girl from Hufflepuff he had recently met, and the other two just teasing him. Fred kept fidgeting, and moving his feet trying, very unsuccessfully to not show his jumpiness.
"Shut up" he said to his brother "I'm not nervous" both Lee and George snickered and laughed loudly.
"Keep telling yourself that" said Lee patting the redhead on the back.
"Don't worry brother, we get that you're nervous, she's quite hot" Fred dropped his head back in frustration and groaned.
"Could you please just-"suddenly out of the corner of his eyes he spotted the brown headed girl walking towards them, so he turned to his friends "there she comes, go away"
"But we wanted to talk to her" said Lee.
"Yeah, maybe we could pull some strings in your direction" Fred's eyes widened.
"What? No! Just go!" the pair laughed again, but not wanting to cause more suffering to the poor lad, they started walking towards Hogsmeade. Fred turned to look at Sara again and was startled to see her standing right in front of him. He let out a little gasp "Wow, you're quick"
"What?" the girl asked confused and the redhead shook his head.
"Nothing" he said smiling, and then he offered his hand to her "Shall we?" Sara smiled and took his hand.
"We shall"
The pair began their walk towards the town that was near Hogwarts, hand in hand, and without noticing, a smile on both of their faces.
"So, how did the prank go yesterday?" Sara asked, and Fred smiled.
"Very good, as always but as always too, George and I got detention tonight, McGonagall wanted to leave us without coming to Hogsmeade today, so I had to make a little begin" he chuckled.
"Awww you really wanted to go out with me, that's so sweet" she said in a mocking tone.
"Well yes" he answered truthfully, and then he smirked "but not as much as you wanted to go out with me, I just knew that if I stood you up, you would have been devastated, so I had to do everything in my power to avoid that to happen" Sara laughed.
