Dark clouds covered the sky looking as if it was going to rain, matching Sara's mood perfectly. She stood on the entrance of the graveyard, a white arch stood proudly before her looking quite aged, which was a rare thing since it had been put there only a year ago. The words "BRAVERY – COURAGE – DETERMINATION" were written in big capital letters in the curve of the arch, and under them, in a smaller script "To those who we loved and lost, thank you". This graveyard had been built after the war and had buried in it every person that had died during its course, so too many people Sara knew were there. She passed through the arch and walked along the gravestones, avoiding at all cost touching them, she had a weird thing with gravestones, didn't really like them, well how could anyone like them? She thought they were a sign of dead people. Sara hated this graveyard, it only reminded her of the so many losses that the war had brought, it was not fair, so many innocent people who had lost their lives for the cause, so many brothers, sisters, parents, lovers. She suddenly stopped in front of a white gravestone that had flowers at its feet. "Fred Weasley" it read "son and brother". Sara also hated the caption that had been put in Fred's stone, she knew that he would have wanted it to be something like "Babbling bumbling band of baboons" or something else that was funny. The flowers that laid on the ground before the gravestone were fresh, meaning someone had been here not too long ago, so Sara smiled, it was good knowing that Fred was being remembered. She kneeled in front of the stone and softly ran her fingers on it tracing the words Fred Weasley, she sighed.
"Oh Freddie, you dim-witted idiot, why did you have to die?" tears formed in her eyes as she kept tracing Fred's name on the stone. "I miss you so much, I don't know how to keep going without you". Sara's face was completely wet by now, so she cleaned it with the sleeve of her jacket. "I... I have a chance to bring you back, well, to save you, but I can't do it, I know I can't" she sighed again her hands tightened together in her lap, her fingers playing with each other, her eyes watering again "what would you do? If I were the one who died and you had lived, what would you do?". She couldn't help the sobs that were coming out of her mouth now, she looked up at the sky, hoping that she could see a sign, anything that could help her decide, but she only saw the water drops that were falling from the clouds, hitting her face and mixing with her tears. She looked at the gravestone again.
"I love you Freddie, but I'm not sure what to do" she said, then she kissed her hand and placed it in the stone on Fred's name. She stood up and walked back to the entrance of the graveyard. Sighing she looked back at Fred's gravestone and tilted her head to the side in curiosity. She could have sworn she was alone at the cemetery, but standing right in front of the tomb, looking at her with a sad smile, was George. She smiled back at him and waved, his smile got bigger and he waved back. Then, Sara turned around and started walking back to Diagon Alley. Since it was at a short distance from the graveyard she always preferred to walk rather than apparate, after all she liked to be alone when she visited Fred, so she naturally assumed that George wanted to be alone too.
"Run!" he said while grabbing her hand and dragging her after his brother. They got to the start of the stairs, and without thinking about it, George jumped on the first set of stairs that stood in front of them, Fred and Sara following him close behind. Just as they were stepping onto the fourth floor of the castle, they heard Filch's voice screaming for them to stop.
"Let's split" Fred suggested. And without waiting for a response from his brother he grabbed Sara's hand again and started running once more, making them turn right on the next corridor they saw, as George turned left. They kept running and running, facing the stairs again they kept going up. Suddenly Sara let go of Fred's hand and stopped.
"What's wrong?" The redhead asked her.
"Nothing...I...just...can't...run...more" she responded panting. She took a deep breath, trying to actually get her lungs some air. "You're too tall...too fast...I..." Sara slid to the floor and supported herself on the wall behind her. Fred chuckled and sat down beside her.
