Sara and Hermione found themselves standing in Sara and Fred's room in the flat above the shop in Diagon Alley, Fred sitting in the bed looking at them.
"Nothing is happening, why nothing is happening?" he asked them. Sara looked at Hermione, obviously the bushy headed girl couldn't hear Fred's questions.
"What do you mean nothing is happening? We are back" Fred looked at her confused.
"What? But how can that be? Not even a second has passed since you gave the turns to the time turner"
"Umm" Sara looked at Hermione for help.
"You'll have to explain to me what are you two talking about" Hermione told her.
"Oh, right. Well Fred says that nothing happened, that it has only been a few seconds since we turned the time turner, and I don't understand because we already traveled to the past"
"Well, I believe that in this time, is like we haven't done anything like we were always here, and the time stands still, but for us, we did travel to the past and were there for I don't know how long"
"Huh" Fred looked at them "Well, where did you go? And more important, to what year did you travel to?"
"Well, we both appeared in Hogwarts, and it was 1994 or 1995 we are not sure"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, it was the school year of the Triwizard tournament, but we don't know if it was the beginning of it in 1994 or later in 1995"
"How many turns did you give the time turner again?" the redhead asked.
"Four, right?" Sara said looking at Hermione. "We gave four turns to the time turner?"
"Yes" she answered.
"Well, if you gave it four turns, and you think you travelled to 1994 or 1995, I would say you travel to 1995"
"Why 1995?" asked Sara.
"Because, maybe, and I'm only speculating, four turns may be 4 years, so that's why you ended up in 1995, 1999 minus four"
"Huh, that actually makes sense"
"What are you talking about Sara? Please, remember I can't hear "Fred"" Hermione said making a sign with her hands when she said Fred. Sara chose to ignore it.
"Fred says that we probably ended up in 1995, because we gave the time turner four turns, and 1999 minus four is 1995"
"Well, it could actually be that every turn you give the time turner is the number of years you'll travel" Sara looked at Fred and nodded. "Well, let's meet up again to try our theory alright? A second trip should give us a more accurate idea of how many years we will travel with every turn" Hermione paused to grab her bag "I should be going now, write to me alright?" Sara nodded again smiling.
"Alright, I'll see you soon" she told the girl smiling. Hermione hugged her briefly and disaparated. Sara turned to Fred.
"I think it makes sense, that every turn we give the time turner is the number of years it will make us travel"
"Probably, you'll have to try it again to check it"
"Yeah" Sara said smiling "But not now, I'm kind of worn out so I'll just go to bed"
"What?! But it's like six thirty!" Fred exclaimed, he was hoping to spend a little more time with the girl.
"I know, I know" she smiled apologetically "But the...um trip really tired me" Then Sara's eyes widened in realization "Oh Merlin"
