To defend against what creature would you use a laughing potion? What is the main ingredient of this potion and where can you find it?
Sara thought for the answer a bit, well the laughing potion was known because it made the drinker have an uncontrollable laugh, so obviously its main ingredient had to be alihotsy leaves, now where was common to find that tree? Probably Africa, but she wasn't that sure. And to defend against what creature would she use a laughing potion? Sara knew the correct answer was a banshee, but why, she couldn't remember. After giving it a little bit more thought, she wrote down her answer on the paper on her desk.
Which mundane plant is known as wolfsbane or monkshood? What are its uses?
Alright, this was an easy one, Sara knew that wolfsbane was the same plant as aconite, and that it was obviously used to brew the wolfsbane potion, but also the wideye potion. One had to be careful though, because its leaves were extremely toxic, so to brew any potion you had to use its flowers.
Alright, so this test wasn't that hard. After her meeting with Hermione, Sara had gone back to George's flat and decided to forget about the time turner for a while. She had spent the weekend helping George down in the shop and studying with Fred for the test she had on Monday, the one she was currently doing. Of course, the test had a practical part too, but she had already done that, it had consisted of recognizing the leaves of different trees or plants, and classifying them into diverse categories, according to their uses. The practical part of the test hadn't been a complete disaster as Sara had thought it would be, because even though she was very good at potions and herbology, Fred hadn't been much help with her studying the weekend, he had spent the whole time trying to convince her to go and visit his family again. On Sunday, when he realized that Sara wasn't going to go to the burrow, he went by himself. He returned a few hours later looking a little gloomy, and when Sara had asked him what was wrong, he didn't answer, instead, he laid down on his side, on the bed of their bedroom, his back facing Sara. She knew that his mood probably had to do with his family still grieving for him, so she just sat on the bed next to him, and even though she couldn't touch him, she ran her hand up and down his arm, or where she should feel his arm, Fred couldn't feel the actual touch, but he felt the warmth of Sara's hand, and it was enough to calm him down.
Once she had finished her test, she gave it to the examiner and walked outside the classroom expecting to see Fred waiting for her, but he wasn't there. Not giving it much thought, she took her jacket out of her bag and put it on, then she hung her bag on her shoulder by the strap, ready to go back to Diagon Alley. She walked towards the exit of the hospital, saying goodbye to a few people on her way out, and once she was outside of it, she appareated outside the Leaky Cauldron. Walking through the bar, she got to the back of it, and with her wand she tapped on the bricks to open the wall to Diagon Alley.
She moved through Diagon Alley not even thinking about where she was going, her feet carrying her with ease, she had done this route many times before. She tightly hugged her jacket around her torso, feeling a cold breeze hitting her face, even though it was almost April, the weather was still a little bit cold for Sara's liking. Not even looking up at the cool sign the George had put outside the shop, she got inside and walked straight to the counter. To her surprise it was Verity who stood behind it, and George wasn't around.
"Hi Veri" Sara said smiling "Where is George?" The girl smiled back.
"He went out a few hours ago, said that I should close the shop" Sara's eyebrows raised.
"Really? That's odd, I wonder where he is, or who is he with" she said with a smirk on her face and Verity laughed. "Anyway, it's almost seven and there's no one here, just close the shop and you can go home" The girl smiled gratefully.
