To say Trixie was surprised when she saw Katya leaning against the side of Mr. Miller's car right outside her dorm would be an understatement. She quickly pinched herself, convinced for a moment that it had to be a dream, but the sharp pain in her arm told her otherwise.

"What are you doing here?"

"Robert's gone away for the weekend and left me in a boring empty house, so I figured I would go see my favorite college student and actually have fun rather than keep staring at white walls." Katya answered as Trixie walked closer to her.

"And you decided to steal his car?" Trixie asked, knowing very well that Mr. Miller rarely let the flashy sports car out of sight.

"Well, what he doesn't know will not kill him. So come on Barbie, let's go party." The Russian replied as she got behind the wheel. "Now, where to?"

"You do know that I'm a workaholic and an insanely hardworking student, right? I'm not sure I'm the best judge of where the hip places are." The law student replied as she got in and fastened her seat-belt carefully.

"I don't care about hip, just anywhere that's not uptight."

Trixie thought about it for a minute, wondering where to take the eccentric Russian woman. They rarely got to hang out for more than a coffee break, and the doll didn't want to waste the occasion or make Katya loose her interest. She wanted to make sure that she'd give the woman an experience she would remember, and that would hopefully make her forget all about Mr. Miller.

"Head to 79 Broadway Street, there's a bar there."

"A bar, really? That's the most creative thing you could think of?" Katya questioned whilst putting the address in the GPS despite her mild disappointment.

"I promise it'll be worth your time, diva." Trixie simply replied, not wanting to explain further until the Russian could actually see the bar.

They drove past parks and crossed the Charles River, the whole drive taking about twenty minutes in total. It was around the ten minute mark that Katya's hand had ended up on Trixie's thigh, and the doll had been glancing at it around five times per minute for the rest of the drive. She fought off the urge to clench her thighs together, forcing herself to remain relaxed and calm.

"You okay there, princess?" Katya suddenly asked with a teasing tone.

Trixie didn't know what to reply, but silently thanked all the heaven's above that they'd made it to their destination.

"We're here!" The doll yelled out way too excitedly.

"Jacque's?" The Russian read after parking the car. "What is this place?"

The exterior looked nothing like the bars Katya had been to, a simple brick exterior with a red sunshade hovering over the entrance. But she figured there had to be something special about the bar since Trixie had picked it. Curious she walked closer to the bar, noticing the sea of colorful people standing outside smoking.

"Drag show? It's a gay bar?" Katya asked as she looked over the poster for that evening's show.

"Yeah, this is Jacque's Cabaret, a friend of mine is performing tonight. You wanna go?" Trixie said, hoping that the Russian would enjoy a night out among other queer people, far away from the stiff role Mr. Miller had her play on the daily.

"YES! Oh my god, I can't remember the last time I was at a gay bar, it has been so long!" The other woman excitedly proclaimed as she made her way towards the entrance.

The inside of the bar was rather small, the stage too except for it's long catwalk-like attachment which stretched far into the room. Surrounding the catwalk were small tables and chairs, all black with a metallic silver edge. There were mostly black walls, and small simple lights on the ceiling, however the wall of layered silver tinsel and blue fairy lights behind the stage made up for the otherwise simplistic decor. In Katya's eyes the place looked both ridiculously cheap and tastefully simple, and it gave the bar an undeniable charm that instantly made the Russian feel at home.

"Like it?" Trixie asked, noticing the expression on the Russian's face.

"I love it. I feel like I have lived here for years."

It was true.
In fact for the first time since coming to America, Katya felt completely at home.
The people, the atmosphere... and Trixie, all made her feel like this was where she truly belonged. The lies she had told to get there and the bad decisions of her past felt as if they were being washed away, and what remained was just her and Trixie, in their truest forms.
Here, under blue fairy lights the brown eyed girl glowed, her smile wider than Katya had ever seen it, her posture relaxed and calm, her eyes sparkling from the reflection of glittery costumes and warm stage lights. It seemed like seeing an all new Trixie, and she was more beautiful than ever.

"Thank you for bringing me here." Katya said before she leaned in to place a sweet kiss on the doll's lips.

But this kiss was nothing like the ones they had shared before, nothing like those stolen moments that had been fueled by lust and desire.

This kiss felt different.

Deeper.
Softer.
Sweeter.

And Katya didn't want the feeling to stop.
