Elemental School

Chapter 3 - Minions.

I run pass more students that were on the floor, hurt and unconscious. I glare behind me, as I see Haruko leap over the people on the floor. What type of raid happens at transfer day? Wait- I slid, coming to a stop, as I don't hear Haruko's footsteps anymore, seems she stopped as well. I stomp my foot on the floor. "Ugh!" I glare behind me again, as I see Haruko. "What's going on?" I sigh, as I rub my forehead with my wrist. This is P.E. "This is P.E." I can see Haruko's eyes widen, as she sighs. "So.. This is not a legit raid?" I shook my head. Nope.  "No. Since this is P.E, we can go to the locker room and get our weapons." I can tell she nodded and I began walking, then I hear her footsteps as well, she's following me as well.

I grip on the soft metal grip, with black cloth that is wrapped around the grip. This is my sword, the Dragonite. Therefore, it's a dragon sword. I don't remember where I got this, but I was born with it. I glare behind me, as I see Haruko looking around the place. Somewhat, she looks ice-cold and shady. Wait, isn't that my personality- I hear a scream, a girl. It came from Class 3-C. I began sprinting, with my hand still gripped onto the sword. I slid the door open, as I see two girls and three guys. Seems the three guys were defending the girls, of how they stood in front of them. They had their elements in their hand. Fire, Air and Water. Somewhat, someone fired a fireball at me. Must be that guy, as he has good reflexes. I unsheathe my sword from the case, then I raise my sword up quickly, then swinging it downwards, cutting the flames. I can hear the guy say: "Oops" so I guess he learn his lessons. I look at them, as I sheathe my sword. Two people, I don't know. New students, as it's the two girls. I clear my throat, as I try to be my shady self again. "Why are you here." I can hear one of the guy saying 'pffft' as he heard my voice, but he sighs. His voice, was a bit high pitched, making him sound like a 15 year old. 2nd year. "We were attacked, and we were pushed back here." I tighten my fist, but I thought for a moment. The teachers said something about regrouping at the field for counting injuries and the students. Me and 4 other students were chosen to be the vanguard, because we were the strongest. But the vanguard levels will change since we got new students. "Move to the field. Are any of you vanguards?" I wanted to know. They shook their heads, but they stood up as well. "We can take it from here. But from the upstairs level, a vanguard is there, supporting and checking the rooms." Then they left, moving quietly. I look behind me, as I see Haruko, leaning on the wall. She has her head, facing towards the window. She looks serious. What's going- I see Dark minions, entering the school. Dark minions are pretty much.. Darkness soldiers, but at this school, they are clones and drones. Their eyes are white, as they are just shadow moving. "Dark minions?" I hear her ask, she had a quiet tone, like fear was taken over. I cross my arms, as I continue to watch the minions enter the school. "They are drones slash clones. They are fake. The school dislikes them." I can hear her breathing pretty heavily, is she scared? I look at her, as now I see her looking at her feet. "Do you hate Darkness? Or with the people that uses the element of Darkness?" Her tone, her look, her question. Does she uses the element of Darkness? Can't be too sure. "I hate the man, Darkness. But the people that has his elements? It depends if they work with Darkness. If they were innocent, I wouldn't know what to do with that person." I look at her, as she had tears in her eyes. "Haruko?" I can tell she stopped breathing, but what she spoke, made my eyes widen, and perhaps I lost grip of my sword..

So.. She uses the element of Darkness. The Evil Lord's powers.  She said she didn't know that her uncle, was the evil lord. But while she was telling me this, she had tears. But still.. She's still.. "Haruko, don't lie to me. Are you evil like Darkness?" She shook her head, but she still spoke to me with a quiet tone. "No. Yet.. I have two sides." WAIT WAIT WAIT, WHAT? I felt like I was choking on my own thoughts, but I cough a bit. "What?" She sighs. "When my power is released, I become more ice-cold shady person. This side is the same with the other side, but it's evil but not that evil. This side right now is replaced of friendly and heartbreaking instead of evil, like how i'm crying these stupid tears right now.." She wipe her eye with her finger. I think for a moment. School cannot allow darkness element users. But how did she get accepted into the school? "Fine." She looks at me, with a confused face. I can't bear to see her cry, anyways. But to bear it and get use to someone.. Someone that has an uncle that killed everyone I had.. "I will still be with you." I sigh, as I glare at the doorway. "Your a family member to the Evil Lord, but your still innocent. Yet, your other side.." I look towards her, but I see her stand up, as she walks towards me. She stood in front of me, looking down at me. What is she doing?- She put her hands on my shoulders, as she put her legs on each side of me, as she stood over me, she drops down onto my.. Lap? "Thank you.." I see her glare at the doorway, and she look back at me. "But my other side, isn't evil like the Evil Lord. It's just really shady." Just like me when I first come to this school. I know how that feels. "Try and convince that side of me to not be evil like the Evil Lord. That side hates the Evil Lord too." I'm a bit confused, but I understand the problem and situation, so I nodded. But to her to sitting on my lap to tell me this. It also feels.. Awkward. I feel my face turning red, as it gets warmer. She notices me blushing, and I look at her. "How long are you going to sit on my lap?" Now she blushes. But she stood up, brushing her hips. I stood up as well, but I look at her. I tighten my right hand into a fist, saying "I will help both of your sides." She smiles, but all I saw was her lips curve into a smile. "Let me tell you this, I don't know how to hide my darkness elements. Other students has a different opinion of darkness users than you." I scratch my head from behind using my left hand. She does have a point. "I will think of something. Wait-" I hear rustling and yelling and fighting above us. I look at the ceiling, as I see little dust and smoke crawling out. "I forgot.. Your not a vanguard. I can't let you be with me.." I see her chuckling, which sounds a bit cute, but why? "Well, i'm a new student. I don't know that." I smirk a bit. "True." I face away from her, as I head to the doorway. I look at the hallway, both side like i'm crossing the road. No minions. I grip onto my sword and I head off, to the right side of the hallway, as I can hear Haruko's footsteps too, as she's following me.

I peer out of the window, seeing students gathered up on the field, as teachers stood along the side, the principal had a megaphone, speaking to the students. Seems he was explaining what's going on, since I can freaking hear his words such as 'P.E' and 'Vanguards.' I look around, as I put my hand on the handle of my sword. The lights flicker a bit, which kinda felt like this place is abandoned. I look around, as I put my hand on a pillar of the wall. I sprint across the other side of the wall, as I watch minions walk along the hallway, lurking around. They seek for their victims. I can hear Haruko's breathing, as she was staying quiet, since i'm quiet. I push against the pillar, moving aside from the wall and sprinting at the minions. The minions, glare up at me, as they see me and they stopped walking. They held their fists, but they were too slow. I'm already a meter away from them. I unclip the sword from the case and unsheathe it, revealing it's red shiny blade. I swung my blade horizontal, as I slice the minions at the front, by the neck. They gush their blood of smoke, as they vanish and disappear. They was still more. I swing my blade at them horizontal again, as I cut them in half through the waist. Still more... I raise my sword up, as it almost touched the ceiling, and I slam my sword downwards at them, vertical. I felt small drop of water, slide their way down from my armpits to my hands, as I was sweating. I sheathe my sword into my case, and I clip it lock. That was 6 minions right there. 3 in front, 3 at the back. I glare behind me, seeing Haruko walking towards me. I smirk a bit, but I glare at the window. I can still see the field, as students are now resting and talking to each other, waiting. Some were sitting. Their uniforms were blowing in the wind, as well. The ties, skirts, hair, they were all moving at the same time. I look in front of me, as I see one minion. Wait- one? Don't minions belong in groups? I examine the minion, as it was buff with muscles and much taller... Perhaps taller than me. What type of minion is this?! I see those red eyes, turn away from me, looking at something else. I glare behind me, as Haruko was 2 meters away from me. Crap! It's aiming for her! I can see it put its hand in front of it, opening their hand, as they summoning a blast shot. I unclip my sword and evade in front of the minion, as I unsheathe my sword. I see Darkness swirl at its palm of its hand, as it fires a gush of darkness at me. I put my blade in front of me, as I feel the darkness impacting my flat surface of the blade, but I slid back then I fly back from the powerful gush of wind. I'm so stupid.. How can I block a shot using a sword?! Fuc- I impact into someone's arms. I try moving my head around, looking at the one behind me.. I feel so tired. I see Haruko's face, as she looks down at me. Her eyes are different. I can see my own reflection. Her Iris were bright red, as she looks at me, with a shady face. She doesn't know who I am, right? She looks upwards, facing the minion, I suppose. She lay my head on the wall, as I see her step forward against the minion.
