A woman with skinny arms and long white hair sits across from me. She looks in she's in her 30s. Haruko comes over to place a cup of tea on the table for the woman. She silently walks back into the kitchen. The woman takes a sip of the tea.

"What do you need?" I ask.

"I heard what happened so I came to check on you," she replies, placing her cup down on the table.

"That event happened last year, so for you to check on me would be a little late,"

"I know. I'm sorry," her face looks sad. Her black eyes shift over to look at Haruko, cleaning dishes.

"So you are living with her," she slowly smile.

"What about her?"

"You both grow up so fast," she chuckle. I notice Haruko looking over at us.

"Do you remember what we were like back then? In fact, how did we meet?" I watch her taking a sip again.

"I had to take care of her, requested from her mother," she place the cup down.

"Why?"

We both notice Haruko standing at the edge of the table. I watch the woman drag a chair from her side towards Haruko for her to sit on. She'd sit next to me.

"Do you remember back then? When you were a child?" She stares directly at Haruko, her eyes focused on hers.

"What do you mean?" Haruko asks.

"Your home, attacked from your fiance, remember that?" So something like that happened? Your fiance attacking you and your family at your own home. Why?

I take Haruko's hand that was on her lap, under the table. I can feel her hand gripping on mine.

"That moment.. Yeah," she nod.

"I had to babysit you to prevent a marriage like that, requested from your mother. You stayed with us for months," she lean back against her chair. "Katsu was there to accompanied you. Your dad would visit daily,"

"So she lived with-"

"Us," she said, cutting me off. I couldn't help it but slightly smile. "Thanks, mom."

"Haha," she chuckles. "It's okay, really. And to see you and her together again, then i'm happy."

Haruko looks at me just to smile, which I couldn't resist but to reply to that smile.

"But seriously," I notice my mom sighing.

"That was dangerous for you to invade the darkness and the kingdom! I did not teach you to do reckless things!"

"But you taught me to follow what my heart tells me too," I reply back. She pouts.

"Kay, nevermind. But since the kingdom is shattered into pieces, the citizens there are having a revolution there for corrupted military, thanks to you guys. Jeez, this is gonna be difficult to explain to headquarters."

"Will you, come visit us again sometime?" Haruko ask.

"Well, umm.." She watches the ceiling, pondering and tapping on the desk with a finger. "I dunno."

"Well, I guess that's all to it," she stands up. "Don't worry about the kingdom, since they can't do much because of the revolution happening. I guess you could say you will be able to live a peaceful life."

"Leaving already?" I ask. I really don't want to go. I can't keep track on how many years it has been for her being away from me.

"Yeah, sorry. But hey, if you get married, then I will be there! Send me a text,"

"I'm 18 now."

"No one careees," she chuckle, heading towards the door. I stood up to follow her. I watch her open the door.

"Mom!"

"Hm?" She look over her shoulder.

"I want to say thank you. To you and dad too," I clutch my fists. Her face makes it look like she is surprised.

"I didn't know you still remember him," she look over at me, then at Haruko. She smiles and walks over to wrap her arms around me, hugging me. "I didn't know you would be so mature. You grew up so fine," she would let go of me.

"Harukoo," she call out. Haruko came over.

"Hi! Yeah- what is it?" She stuttered. Mom would hug her as well.

"Take care of him, okay?"

"Yeah! Sure!" She was surprised to get a surprising hug.

She would later on let go of her. She would whisper something to her.

"WHA-" Haruko's face grew red.

"Okay, I gotta go now! See you both soon. I hope we will see again," she head out through the doorway. I look over to see her walking down the hallway until she's nowhere to be seen. I shut the door.

I notice Haruko's face red. "What's wrong?"

"N-Nothing," she looks away from me. I head over to take the cup off the table, seeing that the tea my mom drank is finished. I place it in the sink. I feel arms wrapping around me.

I look over to see Haruko, her face still red. "Hm? What is it?"

"Nothing. I just wanted to do this, my fiance."

"What?!-" I cluster the washed cups with other dishes. What did my mom say?

Well, that's all there is to it. I
