Elemental School

Chapter 20 - Soldiers and Scanners.

I see large rocks and cliffs, on the grassy hills. This country is so wildlife. I like it. I can see a temple, with dragons on the railings of the stairwells. I instantly open the door.

I can feel the moonlight, punching this country with it's beauty. The wildlife look so beautiful in the night. The moon's light impacting into the darkness of the night.

"You bitch!" I crawl out of the camper, feeling the dirt and grass on my hands.

"What?" Kyzou ask. He was already out of the camper, and next to the doorway- next to me.

"You say the kingdom is in Uljin! But it's actually at Cambodia! No wonder you fucking rent the camper!" 

"I didn't say it that. I said Kurou was the first darkness citizen to encounter more than one element near Uljin." He scoffs.

"We fucking drove 3,000 kilometres!" Pretty much, we wasted two days. So Haruko and Zaerak's marriage is today. We only have 14 hours left. But for us to arrive into Cambodia, it's 12:15 PM, in the middle of the night.

"At less we are in Cambodia. It should be near the shore."

"So we have to keep driving?" I asked.

"For like 50 minutes, we are actually nearby. We have to go to Bangkok." 

I look at the doorway of the camper. I can already see Gen and Zailura face-planted on the floor. I think they are dead from exhaustion.

"Fine.." I said. I enter the camper, as I watch Kyzou go around, to get back into the driver's seat. I see everyone else sleeping. Zailura and Jiao are on the couches, while Gen is on the floor. I felt the floor shake, and the engine starting up again- as I felt us move again.

I glare at the alarm clock on the wooden counter next to the couch. 8:20 AM. I look down at myself. I had a black dress on, that was made by cloth, plastic and somewhat a bit of diamond dust. The top half of the dress was sleeveless, so it felt like I was wearing a tan-top. For the bottom half, it was like any other dress. Big and goes all the way down to my feet and the floor. I heard the door open, and I glare over my shoulder. Zaerak.

He wore a white buttoned shirt under his leather fabric black suit, with a black tie over the white shirt, but under the suit. It goes along with his black shoes. His hair was slick back, like he just used gel. "My, you look beautiful." I scoff and I look away from him. "Only Katsu can say that to me." Wait- what? I felt my eyes widen, as I just cover my mouth with my left hand. Why did I say that? Is it because my other side loves him? 

"I wonder why. But let me tell you this, he's not a darkness citizen. Your not legal to marry him or love him." The reason I had an interest in him was that he is a half god. Sure he's weak, but he has great courage. And him and.. Kurou, were.. Let's say they were bad childhood friends.

"Marry? Fool. I didn't say that." I scoff. 

I hear his footsteps, as his shoes makes clicks on the wooden floor. I glare over my shoulder, as I just see him put his fingers on my chin and held it, making it look upwards a bit at him. He smiles. "I know you didn't." He leans closer to me, wanting to kiss me. I try to move back but I just couldn't-

I hear the door slam open, as me and him instantly look at the doorway. A D.O.E.S infantry was there. He was unarmed and didn't had his helmet on. "Sir!"

Zaerak let go of my chin and moved away from me, as he walks towards the soldier. He stood in front of the soldier. "What is it?"

"We have detected non darkness citizens in the city." There are people here that doesn't use the element of darkness? This kingdom is near Bangkok, like around 3 kilometres away, over a cliff and mountains. Perhaps it's just humans, simply walking.

"Citizens of Bangkok?" Zaerak asked.

"No. We detected five. The scanner reads that they are immortals and has specific elements in their blood." Not humans?

"So non-darkness citizen has entered the kingdom with their own specific element. Seems odd." He looks over his shoulder, looking back at me. Is it.. Katsu?

"Do you know their elements?" He asked to the soldier, facing back at him.

"N-No sir." The soldier stuttered. "But I seek two rare ones during the scan. One of the intruders is corrupted." Corrupted? Zaerak glare down at the floor, pondering. He looked back up at the soldier.

"Search the kingdom. Find anyone that doesn't has the devil ears or the crimson eyes." He said, gesturing with his arm.

"Yes sir!" He saluted, then he faced away from him, then dashed off out of the room.

Zaerak turn around, facing me as he walks towards me. He stopped and stood in front of me, a meter away. "Seems your friends have come to get you." I'm glad. He haven't forgotten about me. But why is he coming for me? This guy is stupid, he doesn't know he's going to be against the whole darkness clan. But surprisingly, he got four other people. How did he manage to get allies? Unless it's our school friends.

Kyzou, Zailura, Jiao and Gen- Oh fuck. Katsu must've told them about the situation. So he didn't kept his promise.

But Katsu is risking to do this just for my sake, even though his life is on the line..
