I felt a tear, crawl out of my eye, but I sat just straight up. All I first see, was me sitting on my bed, and my silver hair being a complete mess. I stare at my fingers and wrist, as they were covered in bandages.
I'm worried.
Katsu is being so cold, yet he looks.. Sad. Why? He doesn't like me or anything, yet he looks like he dislikes me marrying. Him punching the ground? I never seen that side of him before. That man that fought him that day, though. Why is he here?
His name is Zaerak Coalk. I met him when I was a child 4 years ago, before I was taken to this city.

I sat on the wooden bench that was placed under a maple tree, with cherry blossoms, falling down gently and blowing away because of the light wind.
I stare at the lake, that was behind a gray brick heavily guarded castle. I was in front of the lake, as I watch birds fly over the lake, singing their songs. I was wearing a white skirt dress, that those princess would wear or whatever. Expect the skirt doesn't extend towards my feet, it extends towards my knees. I was 13 back then. Yet, I didn't had that fake side of mine back then, until I was 15. There was a secret to that side, but I can't quite ponder correctly with that.
I felt a hand, gently patting my shoulder. I look over my shoulder, as I see a young teenager, with long silver hair that goes up to his shoulders. I can see his 'devil ears' crawling out of his hair that was blocking his ears. The devil ears is what we call our average elemental ears. Sounds stupid, to be honest. But they have at less 2 inch longer than human ears, and were pointy, like elf ears. I take a quick glance at his silver iris, and black pupil.
"Haruko. I wonder why you keep coming here." He said, with those type of tone that those polite gentleman would have. He's like treating me like im the princess, even though i'm not. He's 15 years old, right now and he met our family because of my father. After that, he began living near the castle.
I sigh. "It's boring inside the castle."
He chuckles. "I know. I like to come here, too." I see him turn his head towards the water. I see the sunlight reflects on the water, as I can see the sky just by staring at the water. "Mind if I sit down?" I felt my heart skip a beat. "Uh, sure." I scoot aside, as He flops himself onto the bench. I felt the weight change of the bench. His arms dangles behind the bench, as he lean his back onto the bench.
"How's your father?" He asked.
"Busy."
"Because of work?"
I nod. My father works with the evil lord, as that would I know. The only time when we see him home or him relaxing at home, is at 6 in the morning, then he leaves at 8 in the morning. So he technically stays at home for 2 hours. I'm usually supervised from my mother and sister. My sister was 16 year old, and my mother was 32. They were kind to me and treated me like a daughter, not a princess.
"Hey. Can I ask you something?"
"What?"
"Will you marry me?" I stare at him with shocked eyes.
"I'm under age!"
"Your father agrees the marriage." I roll my eyes. My father wants me to marry Zaerak because he's super strong and he thinks he can protect me.
I yawn, as I lean my head back, staring at the clouds.
"So is that a yes or no?"
I glare at him.
"Sure.. I don't know." That time, I only thought about my future husband. Who is my desired one. Yet, I thought about that and comparing my desired one, to Katsu.
What I saw Katsu, I thought he was just like any other type of students. Annoying, likes to talk alot and the that gives rumours. Like how the beginning of school started. Boys instantly have a crush and drooling over me. Well, over my fake side of me. But Katsu, didn't. I like that.
But now, until today, I regret accepting the marriage. I was stupid enough to marry that idiot. He only cares about the beauty within me for some reason, and my personality. Me being cold and such.
-
It been two years after that talk. I was 15 and I just started high school.
I was sitting on a wooden chair in front of a square pine wooden table. There was each chair for each side. I was alone, eating cereal.
I see my mom enter the kitchen, as she place down my lunchbag on the counter. "Rice and Sushi." I nod. Sushi was my favourite food, because of the seaweed wrapped around the ramen and meat, and then there's rice. But sometimes, my mom packs riceball along with the sushi, calling them just rice.
"Listen, honey."
I look at her.
"We need to talk. It's about your dad."
