Elemental School

Chapter 30 - Secrets.

I didn't bother to look behind me, or remember those words I have yet forgotten. I just rushed into the battle. Kyzou and Gen parry together against the white flaming eyes man, named Reaper. In front of the town hall, I see a figure fly back from someone else towards the doors, breaking the doors along the way. The figure had a sword in its hand. Kyzou. From my foot, at the edge of the rooftop of the town hall, I can feel the building rumble a bit, as I almost lost my balance and stumble. I spring into action.

I leap off from the roof as I drag my sword out of it's case. The weight of the sword suddenly change, as I started spinning while leaping towards Reaper. Gen fire his arrows one by one at Reaper, as he'd leap back each arrow fired. Reaper would just pity those arrows and cut them into shreds. Just when I was in an appropriate distance, I slam my sword towards him.

He was aware of the attack, but not yet fully aware. My blade would impact against his right arm, where he grips on his scythe. His blood dripping from his arm and my sword, they would slowly fill up in my blade, as my blade changes to red. Reaper would use the beam of his scythe and push me aside. Nearly dropping my sword, I impact on the ground shoulder first, then started rolling back.

I watch a bolt of electricity fly pass over me, and struck Reaper at his shoulder. He flies back. "Why are you on the floor?" Kyzou asked. "In fact, how did you get here?" He'd put his hand in front of me. I grab his hand, as he lift me up to my feet.

"To reinforce you." I answered. I put my sword in front of me, gripping it with both of my hands. My right hand gripping onto the top half of the handle, as my left hand grips the bottom half of the handle. I dangle my right thumb with the sword's blade, playing with it.

I catch Gen walking towards us, then stood next to me, but opposite from Kyzou. His arrows looks different. The tip of the arrows would be green, and spike looking jungle vines would be wrapped around the arrows. His arrow is pushed back against the string of his unfamiliar looking bow, with the color of green and black. "I want to finish this. I have to tutor Jiao soon." He said, humorously, expect his voice doesn't sound very humorously. He's serious.

"Look who's serious for once." Kyzou said, resting his sword on top of his shoulder."Rest assure. In fact, where are the girls?"

"I told them to leave this place."

"No you didn't." Someone said, with a familiar voice. It sounded like Zailura's. We can see three figures on top of the town hall's rooftop, looking down at us. It's those guys.. 

"Why did you come back?" I yelled.  I notice Haruko's eyes were red, yet they look different. It doesn't look like a crimson red, it looks more darker, like red and black were collided. 

"You think we will leave you three musketeers alone?" Haruko answered, but giving me a question instead. 

"You guys are the musketeers, looking that you three are on the rooftop, looking down at us." Gen said, not sounding his humor self. 

I watch three of them jump down one by one, as they'd rush towards us and join our line. I catch Haruko's eyes glaring at me, yet she stood next to me. Her hand on my shoulder and putting her mouth next to my ear, whispering to me. "Besides, due to our relationship currently, do you think I could let you go?" She asked. That sounded perverted, yet I feel my face warm. "You may have a cold side on the outside, yet on the inside you are really warm. As for example you blush easily." I catch her eyes glaring back, looking towards the direction of Reaper's whereabouts of him flying back from a unsuspecting bolt of electricity. "I'd be taking those words from you and using it back at you, Haruko." I said, sighing afterwards. I can see her eyes flash back at me, that gave me the chills. "Looks like you beat me." She move back from my ear, then face at Reaper.
