Listening to the wind blow, with the trampled leaves following along, they scrap through the floor and walls like a leash on a rock. Warm breeze secretly lurks behind the blowing wind, and the sky with its white clouds, moving like they are sorrow. Whenever the breeze touch you, you can feel the warmth from one side of you, while there is the regular neutral feeling from the wind on the other side. The warmth and the coldness couldn't make any contact with you, because they are all best when together. The grass breezes, but softly, like a thread of wheat rolling. It's greener that ever, like the color of maple trees, slowly rustling among themselves and their branches. Their leaves would slowly depart, as the tree would be one with the branches again, and the leaves would slowly fade from green to red or orange.

A year has passed since the marriage incident.

I adjusted my tie and collar.

Life went back to normal after Haruko came back. The school knew about the incident, and were resolutely desperate. They called Haruko the Female Katsu. They never bothered to find a suitable name to call someone narrow mind. The name Katsu became the mascot for the school, for being the number one narrowed person, and the only person that has a strong relationship with the devil. But noticing about Haruko and her  relationship with him, they still accepted her, because they know what type of person she is.

I slip the scarf off the hook.

Half of my secrets with her is already exposed, but it felt like those secrets were diseases I carry. It made things more exclusive. Because of being away from school, we were all sent to detention, but after the principal hearing the story from us, and Haruko's father, we manged to raise the time of detention shorter, and became heroes. Clubs were more active and we were part of a Council for the school, as substitutes, referees and leaders in combat, whenever it's a drill or not.

I grab the briefcase, with it's leather handle dangling from the edge.

We are in our 4th Years of the school. Grade 12, the kings of the building. Our uniform would change slightly to having the same colors, but yellow outlines with black ties. Representative for the building and the students. The only difference from being in your 4th year and council, is that you would have teacher's work.

Grabbing my last bag I was acquired with for my last year, I grab the door and headed out, shutting the door behind me. The apartment isn't filled anymore, not packed. It's an average day, with an average life, with no people around me.

Expect there is a group of people I want in my life.

Dragging the desk towards the edge of the room, I focused my eyes in front of me, with my bangs hanging in front of them. I adjust my chair and sat down. The desks would still be clean and smooth, but there's scratches and dents. Marks from markers and pencils, and leftover eraser shaving from last year. I swipe them off. The chalkboard in front is a picture of new seating arrangements. I moved two seats back, from my current seat.

My bag, chills on the hook connected to my desk and I grabbed my textbooks out and place them on the desk. I stare at the number on the right corner of each textbook, 4. As the 4th year of high school, the 4th grade of high school.

I catch to see someone snatching one of my textbook, my math textbook, from my desk. "Hey!" I yelled. I start to realize the thief.

"Hey." Gen said. He's wearing the grade 12 school uniform, same as mine. His brown hair is the same as always. No gel or bed hair. Just an average short hair that is left alone. I remember that Gen and Jiao have gotten closer than us, like they have a special relationship or bond between them. I grab the textbook from him. "Your eyes are narrow as always." He said, shrugging with a smirk on his face. He doesn't regret what he did.

"That's how I always look." I said, sitting down. "Where do you sit now?"

He pointed towards the desk from the right of mine. I follow his trail, seeing him point at his desk to desks away. "Pretty close."

"Yeah." He paused for a moment, then looked back at me. "How long did we missed school since that day?"

"Referring to the marriage incident?" I asked.

"Yeah. I completely forgot how school feels now."

"Did summer break really break your mind?" I joked. He laughed. "Nah, not really. Well- I felt that type of feeling before, but just how we learn, we fight for fun, we have lunch, you know? Like normal people."

"For fun?" I hear someone else say. Kyzou was standing in front of my desk, looking at Gen.

"Hey to you too." I said.

Gen jumped a bit, startled from the incoming voice of Kyzou's. "Y-Yeah. You know? Not fighting serious against each other like we did back then, like we weren't killing each other. You know? Training sessions."

"Could've said that earlier." Kyzou shrugs. Gen asked how's his relationship with Zailura, and Kyzou instantly punched him at the shoulder, showing him his narrow face, which startled me. During the summer break, Kyzou and Zailura started dating. We weren't there but we heard from Zailura herself, as they both confessed to each other.

"What do you mean?" He asked, shaking his fist, waking it up. Gen rubbed his shoulder and whined. "Ow, that hurts you dick." He drop his hand next to him. "We know you two are dating. Cause of Zailura."

"She's gossiping to people now?"

Gen patted his back, smiling with squinted eyes. "You should feel happy. Be special. Your dating someone. I bet she told the girls too."

"No one congratulated Katsu." Kyzou said, brushing Gen's hand away.

"Sorry, Katsu."

"It's fine. We were in the battlefield when that happened, so it would be stupid to be serious about it at that time." I shove my books into my bag, and clipped it.

The bell started to ring, alarming us and they both rushed to their seats.  I watch groups of other students entering the classroom a minute later. I glare at the blackboard again, looking at the numbers. My seat number is 24. There is 36 behind me, and some other numbers near the front and from the left of Gen's. I watch other people dragging their desks to their location. One in front of me, one to the right of me. I notice Zailura at Kyzou's desk, which she didn't change either. Kyzou's desk is near the entrance, so he's pretty far apart from us, yet I see Zailura sits two seats away from him, so I guess he's accompanied.

I notice someone walking towards me, with their bag in front of them, as they hold the grip with two hands. I noticed it was Jiao. "Hey." I said.

"Hello." She said, as she'd put her bag on her hook, at her desk. Her desk, is at least from the North-East from mine, a desk away. "Thanks."

"For what?"

"In the beginning, I never had any friends, and couldn't meet Gen. Now since I met you two from the far beginning, you helped me meet Gen,and made my English and Japanese improve a lot."

I nodded. "Yeah, I can tell. Keep it up." She smiled, and nodded at well, then sat down.

I grabbed my English textbook out of my bag, and placed it on my desk, in the corner, knowing I putted my textbooks away just a minute ago. I noticed a folded square leap towards my desk. I see letters through the paper, and I unfolded it. Look behind you.

I did what I was told, and looked behind me. I see Haruko's leaning on her desk with her arms on top of the desk. She was smiling when she noticed me looking at her. "Hey."

I smiled. I could tell she moved her desk behind me quietly. "Hey."

Katsu Zanerous, you've grown up so much.

A voice said.
