Elemental School

Chapter 23 - Robot.

I dodge his rocket fist, that skim through my face, as it crashes into the back wall of the hallway. I glare behind myself, seeing more cells. If I can just get this robot to break the cells. I whip a fireball at him as- wait. Crap. 

I look down at my hands, seeing the gauntlets. Fuck.

The fist fly back towards me, from behind. I duck down, dodging the fist, as it impacts on the robot's wrist. I run towards the first cell. Kyzou's cell. He stared at me, but then got up from the bench that was connected to the wall.

"Move!" I yelled. He just tilted his head in confusion, but decided to evade. The robot's fist fires towards me again like a bullet, but I quickly evade back, tripping. It breaks the bars, and impacts on the wall. Kyzou just stares at shock. "What the fuck?!"

"We got an opponent! Help me out!" I leap back, as I twist my foot and jump up. I swing my leg at it, aiming for the head. My head instantly ricochets off its head as I feel pain already. It grabs my leg and it whips me against more bars. Another cell? I examine my area. I see Gen, sitting on the bed, staring at me. "Move! We are escaping!" I jump back onto my feet, as I kick a dangling bar to the ground, making a huge bang. Maybe that wasn't a good idea. Gen stood up and nodded. "Roger that!" 

I grab a bar while sprinting out of his cell, as I glare at the robot. He whips Kyzou at another cell. It like this robot is breaking these cells on purpose, just for us to escape.. 

I stab the bar at the torso of the robot. It pierces easily, as I can see his wires tangle and dangle. He instantly punch me at the face, as It felt like it punched my tooth out. I slid on my back, but I put my hands behind me and push myself up, leaping. I glare at the other cells. Jiao is out. I instantly run the opposite way, going down the hallway. I look through each cells until I found Zailura's. She was still on the floor. "Zailura!" I yelled. She didn't twitch or budge. Fuck.

I turn to my left, seeing Gen slid on the floor on his back. These guys can't make it through enough. "Hey! You big clacker! Come get me!" I yelled. The robot held Jiao at the neck. It instantly slam her to the ground and walked towards me. I waited. It twirls?

It twirls and lift it's leg up, performing a roundhouse kick. Shit! I duck down, dodging it's kick, as its foot breaks the bars. Yes! I leap into the hole of the bars as I slid in front of Zailura. She was on her side. Did the gauntlets do this to her? I put my hand under her head, and the other under her waist, as I lift her up. I glare over my shoulder, seeing the robot being occupied from Kyzou and Jiao. They were leaping and punching at the robot, pushing it back. "Grab a piece of the cell's bar and stab it!" I yelled. They nodded, as they lift a cell bar. They instantly shove their bars at the robot's head and torso. Sparks and wires was revealed, as it fell on its knee, then onto its stomach. We all watch it fall.

"What's wrong with Zailura?" Kyzou ask.

"It must be the gauntlets." I answered. I watch Kyzou put his hand on her chest. What is he doing?

"She's alive. She has a slow rate heart beat, though." Oh.

I step over the broken bars. "We need our equipment."

"Over there." Gen pointed at the door at the end of the hallway. Yeah, we need to get out of this place first. We all walk along the hallway, as we go pass broken cells and normal looking cells.

We couldn't find our weapons, but we manage to infiltrate the armoury room and took G36s and spears. Jiao and Zailura take the spears, me, Kyzou and Gen take the rifles.

The only place we can hold our magazines and ammo is our pockets. I only manage to hold six. Including the magazine that I have in my rifle currently. We stood in front of a door, that leads to the main room. Haruko is in there. I spin around and stood in front of the door. I slam my foot at it, kicking it wide open. I know there is citizens in there, innocents one. But in order to do good, you gotta do the bad.

I aim my rifle ahead of me, as Kyzou and Gen aimed left and right. Zailura and Jiao stood in front, with spears jabbed. "Hands up! Where is Kurou?" I yelled at the audience. I see people, with black clothing. Tuxedos and dress. Adults and kids.

"Welcome!" I glare up ahead, as there was a massive stairs, leading up to another floor. There was balcony along the walls, around this floor. He is wearing a tuxedo, with his hair back, like he used gel. '-Wait, WHAT?!" He leaps off the stair, as he land on the first floor, 10 meters away from us. 

"How did you fools escape?!" I can just see the people stare at us. I held my rifle with one hand, my finger on the trigger. I turn, as my side is facing him. "Where is Haruko." I asked coldly.

"Guards!" DOES soldiers, instantly rush into the room from other doors and stood along with him. They weld guns and spears. They aimed at us. I examine them. It looks like there was about 10.

"Katsu?" I hear someone whisper gently. I look around me. That sounded like a medium tone, but the voice sounded so quiet and soft. I examine the balcony, until I caught it with my eyes. 

She wore a black dress, with sleeves that only goes up to her shoulder. She had those hats you wear during weddings, covering their face. But it was held back.

"H...H-Haruko."
