There are two type of people in this world for immortals. There are heroes and villains. We don't know which side is balance, but I know that I can change the balance of the heroes.

I look forward, never glancing or turning at anyone else, as I walk in the hallway. People's eyes are faced and aimed at me. People stare at my uniform. I hear them mumbling A council student, That's Katsu, It's him. I wanted to get out of this hallway, but with the people packed on the side of the walls, I can't really enter any classrooms or anything. I take a quick glance of my watch. I hear the bell ring, as the end of the school day. I hear doors opening and footsteps slowly increasing. I hear chattering and lockers opening.

With teachers being a complete distraction on us, we can't focus on incoming graduations and overdue homework. They pile us up with work, things to mark.

I catch to see Haruko leaving her classroom, yet catch a glimpse of me. She smiled and stick her hand out to me, with my bag hanging on her hand. "You forgot your bag," she said. I take my bag from her hand. "Thanks."

I see more eyes aimed at us, and more chattering. I catch Zailura and Gen coming over to us, with their bags. Zailura has a pile of paper in her hands.

"Is that more work?" Haruko asked, looking down at the pile of paper. The pile looks like tests and exams, yet that's what I see. "Yes, it is. It's exams from the 3rd years," she said. Figures. I doubt teachers would give us 4th years exams, cause they might see us cheating. Thank god. If they did give us those, I'm calling them stupid for relying on students too much.

We head for the council room, where it's actually just a classroom. The classroom was suppose to be taken down for construction, but since the council was starting up, they decided to give us this room and set down a 8 feet wooden table in the middle, with metal fold able chairs in the metal. Kyzou and Jiao was already in the room. Kyzou was leaning back on his chair, with his feet on the desk and Jiao doing paperwork. Looks like exams too.

"Kyzou, you look like a slacker," Zailura said, when we first open the door and caught Kyzou in our vision. She is correct. Give him bonus points if he had a cigarette or a lollipop in his mouth.

He'd drop his feet off the table, eyeing on the stack of paper. He sigh in frustration and slam his head on the table, "I hate student council," he exclaim. We chuckled.

I watch Zailura drop the pile of paper on the desk. I flop onto my chair and take the first paper on top of the pile.

"You know what I was wondering?" I said, looking at the paper one at a time. They all were multiple choices on the first couple of pages, then paragraphs at the back. "We appear as bloody haunted murderers."

"To whom?"

"The people that uses darkness."

"I feel really insulted," Haruko said, shuffling the papers to a corner of a desk. Shit, forgot about her. How could I?

"Ah! Er- I didn't mean it like everyone in general, I mean like to the people that are hostile," I try to explain it nice and clearly, yet detailed. She still didn't look satisfied.

"Sure," she said, yet didn't bother to look at me. I can it in the tone of her voice, that she's still disappointed.

"You know," Gen said from the corner of the room. "Two of us could stay here and mark the papers, while the rest collect more from the other classes and the answer sheets," he said, heading for the doors. The other four followed  him, as they left me and Haruko in the room alone.

He planned this, I can tell. Is he trying to help me? It's weird they didn't bother telling me anything. I stare over at Haruko, where she is sitting on her chair, marking the tests with her pen in her fingers. "Haruko," I said. I saw her pen stop swirling, as she stopped writing. Yet for a while, she continued.

"Sorry," I said.

She glare at me, yet it feels like her eyes is piercing me. "For what?" She asked.

"For saying bullshit like that," I answered. She'd sigh.

"No, it's true. Darkness is only meant for evil, and I'm the daughter of evil," She said, continuing to write with her pen.

"That's not true," I scold at her, walking towards her. She didn't bother to face me, which got me more pissed.

"You weren't evil when we first met. You didn't do anything bad. You are the only one in the world that defines evil with the power of darkness."

"How do you know I didn't do anything bad?' Her voice raise, as she start to look at me with furious eyes.

"Because I can tell just by looking into your eyes!"

She stopped. So did I.

"I remember a little," I said softly.

"Remember what?"

"Our childhood," I sat down next to her, yet I grip on my chair. "I have amnesia. I forgot my memories. But for some reason, it feels like I remember one part in our childhood when I first saw you."

"The part?"

"You gave someone their money back when they dropped it," I said. Her eyes widen, looking like she remembered, yet she'd smile and laugh. I feel confused.

"What's wrong?"

"That's the only thing you remember, do you?" I feel embarrassed.

"What's right or what's wrong, the feeling belongs to anyone. Including the citizens of darkness," she'd move her chair, and push her chair against mine, and lean on my, like I'm a support that is part of a chair or a couch. "It's stereotypical to think of something like that. There's always warmth inside someone's heart, no matter who they are, and how they look like."

No matter what she said, she was absolutely right. Everyone in the world has done something that gave them warmth. Not body heat, but just a feeling in their heart. Like whenever you feel crying, or falling in love with someone or anything that can affect a whole person's emotional state.

That warmth showed your emotion through words or actions. Having that warmth means your human. Your alive. You have feelings. Something you never felt before.

It's not possible for someone in the entire world, to not have a strange feeling of warmth.

"Is it possible for the dark lord to have that type of feeling?" I'd snicker behind my words. It made her chuckle. "Yeah. I'm a relative to him. If I can smile, he could to."

"What does the warmth mean?" I ask.

"It means many things. But not sadness. The warmth is like tears of joy, or feelings for others."

"For others?"

"To provide other people what they need. Giving them mercy for example. Giving them kindness."

"Have you had that feeling before?"

"Yes."

"When?"

"When I loved you."

I feel my vision going blurry again, yet it felt like the source was in my eyes. I rubbed my eyes. Haruko looked up to see me, yet was surprised. "You are crying."

"I don't feel sadness though," I continued rubbing my eyes, yet I felt Haruko's finger under my eye. After a while, she rest her head on my lap. "Do you agree with me?"

"Yeah. All the way."

I heard someone  whistle, which made me and Haruko startled.

"Look at that, you guys are really meant for each other," said Gen, along with the others behind them. He was grinning like there was no tomorrow.

"CLOSE THE DOORS!" I yelled, seeing a bunch of other students leaning and peeking in the room, looking at us.

"Idiots." I said, along with a voice that said the same words as me.

Mine and her's.
