Choi Chanhee, formerly known by the alias Nyu Choi talks about future plans with Twitch streamer Kim Sunwoo.

After the post made by Choi Chanhee a few weeks ago to announce his status with boyfriend and Twitch gamer Kim Sunwoo, the pair have been remaining off the radar in what many believe to be them trying to wait out for another big story to shadow their engagement.

However, in a recent radio broadcast done by the former ulzzang, he speaks up about how even after weeks, media companies still consistently reach out to him and Kim despite the many times they have refused to share more details on their personal affairs.

"I'm partly to blame for this seeing as how I decided to post it but you'd think the press would get the memo eventually right?" Choi had said in regards to the topic, his fellow radio show host Boo Seungkwan laughing at his tone and agreeing with him.

Choi makes mentions of how both he and his partner were well aware of the stigma and the fact that gay marriage was not allowed in Korea and bravely speaks up about it despite being a rather prominent figure in the media industry even after halting his modelling activities.

Through it all, fans in the live comments were giving their avid support towards the couple but with every positive comment, a negative comment followed, calling them 'sinners' and against the 'law of nature' to which Choi laughs at, saying that " [...] if loving someone was a sin, then sure! Call me a sinner then babe!"

He states that part of the reason why they had been so quiet was because Kim was helping out both his sister and mother and wanted to ensure their wellbeing before all else and fans could not help but feel extraordinarily single when Choi started talking about how wonderful a person he is.

After that, Choi speaks vaguely about their future plans, one being to move to a place whereby their decision to get married can be carried out but ultimately, the pair are happy with the way that they are currently.

"Honestly, even if we don't get married yet, I will still love [Sunwoo] as much as I currently do and maybe even more. Plus, marriage is just a legal contract so [...]" said Choi.

Media companies have reportedly sought for the opinions of Choi's parents Choi Junho and Lee Kara, two figures that, as of late, have gone silent after the accusations made by Lee Kara against her own husband of gaslighting, mistreatment and overall misconduct. Some people speculate that they had used all their cards and have grown powerless to their own son while others think that they're waiting for the right moment to come back. However, we have yet to obtain any information on their opinions about this couple.

The radio broadcast ended with Boo asking Choi to say something to his fiance and his words are as follows: "Kim Sunwoo! This is so embarrassing but...I miss you idiot. Give me a call when you're free!"

Although plenty are beginning to develop a soft spot for this couple (lovingly named Sunnyu/Sunnew by their group of friends), there are still thousands who find them disgusting or believe that Chanhee should find someone better.
