SAMANTHA

I rushed inside the hospital when I arrived in the parking and saw a lot of people. But not Nicole.

Please God, not Nicole. Not my Nicole. Not her, please. I'm begging you.

Paulit ulit na dasal ko habang papunta ng Operating Room. Doon ako itinuro ng hospital staff napagtanungan ko.

"Nurse! Who got s-shot?" kabadong tanong ko.

"S-si nurse N-nicole---"

"Fuck!" sigaw ko, sa takot ng nurse agad siyang umalis sa harap ko.

Napaluhod ako. I felt numb and my world shattered by that news. My whole body is tremble with so much fear and anger.

"S-sam."

Napalingon ako sa tawag ni Niki. Her dress is full of blood. Agad ko siyang sinugod at kinwelyuhan.

"What the fuck did you do?!"

She grab my hand and push me. But my mind is livid, all I want to do is to get even to whom who did that to Nicole.

"Calm down!"

"What happen to Nicole?! What the fuck did you do?!"

"I didn't do anything! Fuck!" she pushed me hard and raked her hair frustratedly. I can see her hands are shaking. "I... I... Fuck it! I don't know what happen! P-pagbalik ko, she was there, lying in the ground! Damn it!"

"Who the hell did it?"

"I.. d-don't know! I saw Nicole, she has full of blood Sam! Damn it! T-then V! Tang ina. H-hindi ko alam anong nangyari! Ganoon na ang dinatnan ko! I heard gunshot kaya napabalik ako---"

"You're there also?! You fucking leave Nicole with that fucking psycho?!"

"What the--- ano bang sinasabi mo?! They're fucking friends---"

"Bullshit! If anything happens with Nicole. I swear, I gonna kill that bitch!"

Nilayasan ko siya at nagtungo ako sa security ng ospital.

"Mam, hindi po kayo---"

"Papasukin mo ko o masesesante ka?"

If looks could kill, this guard who stop me will surely be dead by now.

"Mam hindi po---"

"I am Samantha Reàl. Drill that in your fucking head!" he hurriedly get out of my way and all of them look at me. The police are already in the room, reviewing the CCTV footage in the parking.

"Sam---..." Capt. Martinez, my cousin, is also there. "You can't be here---"

"It's my fucking girlfriend who got shot! Ano sa tingin mo ang dapat kong gawin?! Who fucking did that, Alex?!" I am livid. My body is shaking with so much anger.

"Calm the fuck down! I know what you've been going through, but you can't be here!" mariing sabi niya. Hinatak niya ako paalis doon at saka dinala sa isang kwarto.

Sinuntok ko ang pader pagkapasok namin sa kwarto. Literal na nagwala ako at doon binunton ang galit ko. Alex is just looking at me. Letting me to cool down. But I don't think I can!

"Just fucking tell me who did it!"

"You can't just barged in like that, Sam. You may compromise the investigation. Tss. Alam kong mahirap para sa'yo, pero hindi ba dapat naroon ka sa tabi ni Nicole? You shouldn't be here."

"I... I can't bear to see her in that state." napaupo ako, nanghina ng maalala ang lagay ni Nicole.

Alex tap my shoulder. "Go to her. I know it's hard for you, but you should be there, Sam. Akong bahala sa imbestigasyon. I will not let go, whoever shot Nicole. I promise."
