Lacey and Layla - Danis niece sat in Lacey's living room of the flat, watching Disney films in the background, singing along like there wasn't a care in the world, in reality, Lacey was doing everything she could to ignore the fact that the England boys arrived back from their holiday today.

Lacey wasn't one to listen to what social media said, but seeing that Mason had been hanging around some blonde girl all holiday suggested that he in fact had got his kicks somewhere else for the week, and despite the fact that they knew there was nothing going on between them, Lacey couldn't help but feel some form of jealousy, as well as hurt from the news, but I guess, when you had spent the night with someone before they flew to a different country less than a couple of hours later without a word, or even a goodbye, it was enough to make you feel hurt, or betrayed even.

"Lacey, can we please watch Descendants, you look like Mal!" Layla giggled, as she pressed play on the TV remote, grabbing a purple wig and placing it sloppy on Lacey's head, laughing at the older girl. "For you, anything" Lacey says, pulling the smaller girl in for a hug, and holding her close a moment longer than she needed to, but in reality, Lacey needed the hug more than Layla did.

Lacey sang along to the songs, Dani coming into the living room and recording her dancing around with Layla, posting it on her story on Instagram.

Lacey, Dani and Layla spent the early afternoon watching films, just enjoying each other's company, until Dani had to take Layla home. "I'll see you tomorrow, I'm so excited!" Dani smiled, hugging her best friend. "I'm excited too, it'll be a good laugh" Lacey smiled, as she waved her best friend and little best friend off, closing the door as her phone chimed.

But as soon as Lacey had put her phone down, the feeling of nerves filled her body, the thoughts she had been pushing away all morning, and succeeded at doing had finally taken their place in her body again. Mason was coming home, and if Dec was being picked up by Lauren, did that mean she was also picking Mason up too..

Lacey sighed to herself and got ready, pulling her hair into a lose plait, and changing it some jeans and a nicer jumper, the Tall Chimney wasn't a fancy restaurant, but she felt the need to make an effort, she couldn't go out to eat looking like a slob.

"I think I prefer the purple hair, I'm not going to lie Lace" Sasha states, as the two girls stand at the bar, ordering a couple of drinks for the table, not really sure what Lauren would want to drink. "Are you worried about seeing him?" Sasha whispers, as Lacey looks at her, her question being random and out of the blue, Lacey assumed a conversation would take place about her and Mason, and if they had spoken - which they hadn't since that night, but she didn't think it would happen as quickly. "I'm not worried, I'm just" Lacey states, running a hand down her plait. "I'm not sure how I feel, like it's hard to describe it" Lacey finishes, tapping her hand on the wood of the bar gently. "I mean, I guess, I'm excited to see him, like just to know his okay, and that his happy, but at the same time, I really don't want to hear about how the holiday went" Lacey whispers, her mouth speaking openly. "My Mum said I look like I'm glowing, that I remind her of the teenager I was, but I shut down any conversation that got close to the subject of him" Lacey whispered, her eyes darting to the door quickly then back to Sasha.

"I don't see why you guys can't make it work, it's obvious there's feelings on some line somewhere, it's just you both admitting to it" Sasha mumbled, as Lacey shook her head. "Maybe I do, maybe I honestly don't, maybe I've just enjoyed the company of someone listening to me rant at a night, talking about nothing that matters, just having someone" Lacey whispered, as she slowly processed her thoughts.

From the outside looking in, it may look like Lacey and Mason had feelings for each other, but maybe, Lacey didn't, maybe Lacey had really been lonely, not really knowing what she needed lately, getting over a heartbreak, maybe she just needed someone's company, someone to listen and make her feel like the world was a good place. But that didn't explain the jealous feeling she got seeing Mason with Chloe, or the photos of him and the blonde girl on holiday. But you can get attached to someone, and miss someone in a non romantic way.

"So, what are your plans with Jack this weekend?" Lacey asked Sasha as they walked to the table, changing the subject of their conversation completely, causing Sasha to roll her eyes, finally thinking that her friend was ready to talk about what was going on. "Well, we have squad night tomorrow, we need to plan some outfits!" Sasha gushed, showing her excitement about the open mic night. "And then I think we're going to Birmingham for a couple of days so Jack can see him family and spend time with them" Sasha smiled, Sasha and Jack were family orientated, family always come first. "What about you? Plans? Work?" Sasha smiled, taking a sip of a cocktail that they had ordered. "I quit" Lacey stated, as Sasha looked over at her, eyes wide. "You did what?" Sasha laughed, as Lacey nodded her head. "I need to find something, but as of now, I'm currently unemployed" Lacey laughed, as Sasha held her glass up to cheers. "I'll drink to that" Sasha smiled.

Lacey and Sasha were deep in conversation about Sasha thinking about some job roles she knew was available at the agency she was employed by, not modelling, but more the administrative side of things, which seemed to interest Lacey.
But then Lacey looked to the door, and sure enough Lauren was walking in with Declan, but to her surprise, but not so much her surprise, Mason and Jack followed in too, both of the smiling ear to ear when their eyes land on the table and see Sasha and Lacey sat there.
