Laceylou_x - oh that's sad!"Hey" Mason breathed, as his face come onto Lacey's phone, he was standing in the garden, and Lacey wasn't sure if he had been stood there since she left. "Hi" Lacey replied, giving a little wave to the camera, as you could hear Declan and Ben laughing in the background. "Just go and bloody see her" Declan laughed, as Mason turned around and Ben and Declan come into view on the camera. "I've been a dick, are you free to talk?" Mason mumbles, as Declan and Ben walk back into the restaurant, and Lacey could see Jacks figure standing at the table meaning he got back there safely. "I've had a drink, I don't know how bitchy I'm going to be" Lacey mumbles, as Mason smirks at the girl. "I'll take my chances, I'll bring the food" Mason smiled, as Lacey nods her head, "I'll text you the address" Lacey smiled, as you heard Declan whoop in the background, his figure coming back into focus. "Protection guys, protection" Declan smirks, as Mason hits up the side of his head, both of them laughing.

Lacey wasn't sure if Mason coming round was a good thing, but either way she busied herself tidying her already spotless apartment, making sure the air-fresheners were topped up, ensuring the place felt homely, she wasn't entirely sure why she was making a big deal out of it all.
Lacey's doorbell rang, and she opened the door with a deep breath, looking at Mason in his joggers and a top, Lacey matching him in some grey pyjama bottoms and a black slogan tee.
"Hey" Mason smiles, as he walks into the apartment, his eyes scanning around at how modern it looked, how it didn't really feel like a feminine feel despite it being just Lacey who lived there. "I can't believe Lauren and Sasha have both been here before me" Mason chuckles, as Lacey shakes her head at him. "I've known Sasha for years, same as Jack, they've both been here a handful of times" Lacey smiled, as Mason and Lacey walked over to the island in the middle of the kitchen, the whole of the apartment was open plan, so it was like a big room with different corners being a different part of the house.
Lacey collected some bowls out of the cupboard, whilst Mason stood leaning against the island, resting his head in the palm of his hand. "So you wanted to talk?" Lacey questioned, looking over at Mason, as Lacey placed the chow mein that Mason had brought into bowls. "I just wanted to say sorry, sorry for being a dick" Mason stated, he was trying to be serious with his jaw clenched, but you could still see the hint of a smile on his face. "You have nothing to say sorry for, if anything I should say sorry for being jealous over something I shouldn't be jealous about" Lacey states, as they both walk over to the sofas and sit side by side, eating their food and engaging in small conversation between mouthfuls.
"But, I need you to be honest with me" Mason stated as Lacey looked up at him, despite sitting down he was still an inch or so taller than her. "Yeah?" Lacey questioned, as Mason took a deep breath. "Do you have any feelings for me? Like do you fancy me?" Mason laughs, as Lacey shakes her head. "I don't think I do, I say think because I haven't thought about it that much" Lacey states, "I think, in the nicest way possible, I was lonely and didn't realise I was, so whatever we were doing worked for me" Lacey whispered, standing up and placing hers and Masons bowls in the sink, turning around to face him, as she filled the sink up with water. "I get what you're saying, but I don't get why you'd act the way you did if you didn't" Mason states, walking over and taking his original place leaning against the island. "I think, I get attached easily, which is rubbish given the circumstance I've had with males in the past, but I got attached to you really quickly, so I guess, in a way, I thought if you got serious with the girl on holiday, or even your ex-girlfriend, maybe this would change, and I shut down, put my walls back up" Lacey states, as she washes the bowls up, placing them in the drying rack, drying her hands on the tea towel before placing it back where it was.
Mason nods his head. "If I'm honest, I know what you mean, what we had going on was good, it was convenient, and I don't do it often, like, you're probably the first person I've ever snuck out of St George's for" Mason chuckled, as Lacey smiles at him. "And I love being around you, I have no idea why, maybe I'm falling, maybe I'm not, but you intrigue me, I just want to be around you" Mason whispers, looking into Laceys eyes.
"Then maybe, I'm not saying we're going to go into my bedroom and get up to what we usually do, but maybe we take this step by step, see where it goes?" Lacey questioned, as Mason smiles at her, nodding his head.
"Okay, so, my names Mason, it's nice to meet you" Mason smiles, holding his hand out for Lacey to shake. "I'm Lacey, and likewise, it's nice to meet you" Lacey giggled, as Mason shook his head and pulled the girl in for a hug, his hands resting on her lower back, as her hands wrap around his waist, holding him close, resting her head on his chest, feeling his heartbeat. "It only does that when you're around" Mason mumbled, as Lacey giggled.
