Walking into a new studio the next morning, I smile to myself. Today is our ballet day and I truly cannot wait. Ballet was the first method of dance I learnt and I hold it dear to my heart. Truth be told it is not my speciality but I truly hope going here is going to change that
"She's a ballerina too" I heard James chuckle as he walked in with Harry and Kieran
"Nice tights boys" I chuckled seeing them in something other then joggers for a change
"You too Pittsburgh" Kieran said chuckling
"Where is everyone? we are never early" Harry asked and I shrugged
Nobody was here yet, just the boys and I. It wasn't as awkward as I thought
"Oh yo I didn't tell you but did you know the girls have told people to steer clear of us" James said making me widen my eyes
"or had Jess just been telling people to steer clear of you?" Kieran corrected and James looked at me making me interject
"I'm afraid you're all black listed" I replied making them look at me confused
"The first day I got here, I was told that you three were bad news" I said making them laugh
"Clearly hasn't stopped anyone though so I wouldn't worry about it" Kieran replied making a valid point
As we all continued to chat the rest of the class shortly followed including the girls and Mila
"Hey hey" Mila said hip bumping me. That seems to be our new thing
"Hellooo" I said making her chuckle
We all began stretching awaiting of Leon to arrive. It seemed to be a later start then the boys and I had realised

After getting over the fact I could have stayed in bed an hour longer, Leon finally arrived moving 3 bars into the middle of the room
"This room, is not to be used lightly. This room is where I can promise you, most if not all your injuries will take place" He said
"Is no injuries not an option?" I asked making the boys chuckle and Jess glare at me
"I want you all to start a sequence I will teach you then when I tap you, you will be given a bar number. 1st bar is where you want to be. If you are not on a bar at all, you better work fast to get on one" Leon said before turning and teaching us the sequence

The sequence is certainly not the easiest to learn, Jess and Kelsie seem to have mastered, as well as the boys but here Ashley Mila and I are struggling to high heavens
"Any questions?" Leon asked before starting the music causing the sequence to start
The more times we did it along the music the more that it became easier, more like second nature
"Jess, 2nd bar" Leon said as he made his way around, he looked at me before continuing to walk on
"Abigail, bar 3" He said tapping a girl behind me
"Noah Bar 1" He said. The first position on bar 1 is gone
This continued on for what felt like an hour. There wasn't many people left not on a bar, James got 1st bar, Harry and Kelsie got 2nd, Ashley Mila and Kieran got third
Leon made his way over to me now, my feet had become to numb I didn't even know if I was doing it correctly. As he walked passed me he began to speak
"Natalie, First bar" He smiled as he continued to walk around
"Caleb 2nd" He said as soon as i got to the bar
I glanced over at James who smiled while nodding and continuing the sequence
"And the final 5 of you, you'll remain on the outside. Don't get comfortable there. Your aim is to get onto the three bars" Leon explained before coming back to the front of us
"you lot, your aim is to stay on that bar. Don't lose you place" He said nodding at me once more

I was sat outside in the opening eating area about to start eating lunch when I feel two sets of hands slam down on the table
"Woman do you know how long we've been looking for you" Kieran asked as I had a mouth full of pastry
"By the fact your out of breath, I'm going to assume a while?" I asked after swallowing
"Indeed now let's go" Kieran said taking my back and walking away, I looked at James who was just chuckling
"Where are we going? We are done for the day?" I asked
"To hell we are" Kieran replied
"It's our first team practice" James reminded me, I widened my eyes slightly. I may have actually forgotten about that.. My bad 

"Here they are!" Ellie called as we walked in
"Sorry we found Natalie with her face in a pie" Kieran teased making me glare at him
"It was a pastry actually. If your gonna call me fat get the food right god" I said making everyone laugh at the exchange
"It's alright guys, this time is pretty chilled anyway. We aren't as intense as Leon" Caiden answered
"Maybe we should be then maybe we could get passed Nationals" Another person said
"Guys meet the team, you have Joe, Kelly, Annabelle, Neil and Jodie" Ellie said making us all smile at them
"And yes it is true, we have never made it past Nationals" Caiden chuckled as we all joined them on the floor
"you're a step ahead of us, we've never been to a competition" Kieran said
"Speak for yourself" Caiden said nodding at me, Kieran looked back at me and was very confused
"Little Miss National soloist over here has made it all the way and won Worlds 2 times in a row?" James said making it sounds like a question
"Yeah we won Nationals a total of 4 times when I was there and won worlds twice" I shrugged
"Is there gonna be a conflict of interest between teams then?" Joe asked and I shook my head
"They'll be going to Nationals again yeah but they know I'm here and support that" I smiled remembering all my old dance friends
"So are we letting her defend her title again is the real question" Neil asked, I looked at him confused
"Of course. You don't take that right away from someone who has won it 4 times in a row" Annabelle laughed
"What?" James asked
"Natalie will be our Soloist for nationals" Caiden confirmed, I looked at him a little confused
"shouldn't there be more a discussion? I'm sure someone here is better suited. I'm not professionally trained or anything" I reminded them
"For someone not professionally trained, you certainly know how to dance" Kelly said
"All in favour of Natalie being the solo" Ellie asked raising her hand, then followed everyone else
"I guess it's spoke then" Kieran said nudging me
Was this a mistake? Someone here would do this so much better
"You're like our secret weapon" James laughed making me glare at him
"Right let's dance, you two need to stop flirting" Caiden said making James turn away laughing while I blushed in embarrassment
