"You got in?! That's amazing Nat!!" John exclaimed on the phone, I had to tell him all about today, it was too incredible to keep to myself
"I hate to cut this conversation short but I need to head back in" He sighed 
"one thing first" I asked hearing him hmm in response
"Did you know Meg got in here?" I asked
"What?" he then questioned
"Apparently this place has been watching both of us since I was 7, they offered her a full ride as well" I explained
"That makes no sense, why wouldn't she take that? Dad gave her full freedom to choice if she followed his plan or not" John said sounding just as confused as I did
"Do you ever think it might be worth reaching out to her? Seeing if she could come visit?" I offered
"You know that could open up a can of worms if she found out" He replied
"Part of me wants to tell her, I want her to see what she could have done you know?" I asked 
"I get it bug, I do but It's Meg she is as set in her ways as our father is" John reminded me, I sighed in defeat
"Right I better get back to work but I'll speak to you soon alright? Ohana" John said, I smiled
"Ohana" I replied before hanging up the phone
I miss him, I also miss home.. I want to be able to talk to my sister about all of this but I know for a fact that she would go straight to my dad. John had a valid point with that one
 

I was sat in my room about to go to get some food when there was a knock at the door. Confused because I know that Mila is out seeing her parents tonight I head over to open it
"James?" I asked seeing him stood there at my door
"hey what you up to?" he asked, I looked behind me before back to him
"nothing why?" I asked
"Come with me" He smirked. Intrigued I continued to follow him as we headed out of dorm block we passed Kelsie who waved at the pair of us as we continued
"where are we going?" I asked and he just merely chuckled 

Continuing to follow like a lost puppy we some how ended up on the rooftop
"What are we doing here?" I asked before looking over the edge at the view
"Woah" I muttered to myself
"No views like that from Pittsburgh huh" He chuckled sitting next to me
"What are we doing here?" I asked and he sighed
"I just wanted to apologise for something and put another thing straight" He said only confusing me further
"Okay?" I asked
"I'm sorry for what you heard Jess saying about you in class today. Ignore her, she's just pissed you're better then her. She isn't used to that" He said laughing
"I didn't actually hear what she said, I only heard you lecturing her" I replied making him chuckle
"Lecturing huh" He said
"Well regardless, thankyou" I replied making him nod as he rolled his eyes
"and putting something straight?" I asked as he nodded again
"my brother didn't get me in here" He said, I looked at him confused before remembering what his brother had said
"Hey I didn't think he did. You are talented, why shouldn't you be here" I replied
"Ha, you're the first person to see that" He chuckled
"Living in your siblings shadow sucks, trust me I'm the product of that too" I replied with a little chuckle thinking to Megan, I truly hope she realises what she has missed out on
"Oh really? Do tell?" he then asked sounding intrigued
"My sister Megan, the one Leon mentioned earlier. She grew up and chose to become a Doctor and since then, my parents had decided that was my destiny too" I replied making James look at me confused
"Really? How did you change there mind?" He asked and I bowed my head
"i didn't" I whispered
"Then how are you here? Surely they know" he asked
"They think I'm living with my big brother in New Jersey for the year" I replied and James scoffed with a little chuckle before looking at me
"Oh your serious" he replied
"How are you affording tuition? You have a dorm to your self too? that aint cheap" he asked, the questions getting more and more personal
"Full Ride" I said before making him go wide eyed
"Shit. You must be good" he chuckled
"I didn't know they had been watching me for so long. It's kind of embarrassing" I replied making him laugh
"Why?" He then asked
"I was such a dork when I first started competing at that age, I'm hoping they hadn't seen it" I replied
"Oh you have to show me now" he laughed and I rolled my eyes
"It does not leave this roof top!" I warned him and he held his hands up in surrender

"Oh your little run!" James began to tease
"Hey! I was 7!" I reminded him
"I take it the travel on the spins wasn't intentional?" he asked and I sighed nodding
"that was one of the mistakes in that piece" I replied
"One?" James asked and I nodded
"There were more but if you can't see them that I'll settle for that" I chuckled making him roll his eyes

James and I sat up on the rooftop chatting for a bit, he was telling me about how his brother and him used to dance as kids to keep them out of trouble and it just turned into the new normal for them. Neither of them have stepped foot inside a public school in their life
"So you are telling me you did 9-5 education followed my 6-10 dance?" He asked and I nodded
"While also never getting anything lower then an A" I smiled proudly 
"Alright show off. You got the grades but can you keep them up here?" he asked and I nodded
"I've already finished our term of work on the Sunday when you were all hungover" I replied making him narrow his eyes
"You Natalie are full of surprises" He said and I nodded
"But then so are you" I replied making him furrow his eyes brows
"What do you mean?" I asked
"Before I even met you I was told that you, Harry and Kieran are the three boys we need to steer clear of. Nobody went into detail why but after seeing you boys in action on Saturday. I'm not surprised" I replied making him chuckle
"Wowww who told you that?" He asked
"Mila who was told by the girl I believe" i said hoping that wouldn't bite me in the ass
"Yes the boys and I don't mind a little attention from the ladies but if it was ever to get serious with someone. We would all throw it away in a heart beat" he confessed with a sincere smile
"I think Kelsie and Harry should throw it away. They would be pretty sweet together" I confessed and James laughed
"We've been telling them that since we were all 13, who knows maybe you can prove that to them" He offered
"If Jess doesn't murder me for talking to you first" I laughed
"She's been calling nonstop since we've been up here" James said and I sighed
"better get you back to your girlfriend" I said making him roll my eyes
"She wishes she was my girlfriend" He chuckled
"I think everyone knows that Einstein" I replied as we both got up to head downstairs again
It was getting late anyway but regardless this was nice. It was sweet of James to come up and speak to me about the Jessica incident and the brother thing that I didn't even know was an issue
