Hunter's POV

Jana had been out of the hospital for three days now. We were laying on the couch in her living room. Her body was on top of mine and we were watching tv.

Jana pressed her lips to my jawline, my chin, and finally my lips. They lingered on the side of my mouth, teasing me before pulling away.

I clutched Jana's face and forcefully moved my lips against hers. "I love you so much," I breathed in between kisses.

"I love you, oh my God I love you," she would respond. She sneakily slipped her hands under my shirt causing me to gasp and feel self conscious.

Was she disappointed on how I looked? I'm obviously not good enough for her, but I really hoped my ugliness didn't scare her off. I was in love with her.

She kissed down my neck and I closed my eyes, rubbing circles on her back.

"Mom in the room," Mrs. Turner announced, walking in, as Jana was about to take my shirt off of me.

The fast I've ever seen Jana move was when she heard her mom's voice. Despite her broken leg, she sprung to the other end of the couch, leaving my shirt pulled up and my hair a mess.

Mrs. Turner was laughing at our effortless attempts to hide our previous actions.

"Sorry, Mrs. Turner," I apologized, nervously glancing in her direction. I pulled my shirt down and tried to re-style my hair.

"Sorry, Mom," Jana said, moving closer to me and stretching her broken leg across my lap. I wrapped my arm around her.

"Don't worry about it. You're meant for each other."

Jana's POV

Today's Monday, my first day back at school. I was sitting downstairs eating breakfast with my mom, waiting on Hunter to arrive.

"I'm really nervous, Mom. What if I've lost Josie for good?" I asked, biting the tip off of a piece of bacon.

"Don't be nervous. Be confident. There's no way you'll lose Josie-you've been friends forever. It'll be fine," Mom ensured. As she finished her statement, the doorbell rang.

"Thanks, Mom. That's him," I replied, standing up. I opened the door for him.

"Good morning, beautiful. You ready to go back?" Hunter greeted.

"Not at all," I responded, placing one of my hands on his neck and one on his head.

"Why? It'll be fine."

"Josie. She hates me now apparently! What do I do?" I asked.

"She doesn't hate you. Don't worry about it. If she doesn't want to be your friend anymore, that's her loss."

Hunter kissed my lips softly. He gently lifted my shirt so that my hips were exposed. He pressed his hands to each of them. He roughly rubbed them as I moved one of my hands to his chest.

"What are you doing?" Leah asked. How long has she been there?

"Nothing!" I exclaimed. Hunter moved his hands, allowing my shirt to fall back into place.

"Hey, Leah," Hunter said, greeting my sister. He picked her up and kissed her cheek. He spun her around before setting her back down on the ground.

"I love you!" Leah shouted.

"Aw, I love you too, Leah," Hunter responded. Leah's eyes grew wide and a smile spread across her face.

Leah had a major crush on Hunter. She was obsessed with him. He always played along and paid lots of attention to her.

"Hi, Hunter!" my mom said, stepping onto the scene.

"Morning, Mrs. Turner," Hunter said to my mom, kissing her cheek as well. My parents loved him to death.

"We should probably go," I said.

"Yeah, we don't want to be late. Bye Mrs. Turner, bye Leah," Hunter agreed, winking at my sister.

"Bye Mom, bye Leah."
