I got out of bed and went to go get dressed for today. Something wasn't right about that dream. I shake the feeling off and start to think about my day. I head to the closet and pull out some tight jeans that fit my form. I got a purplish grey long sleeve and a white scarf to match. I put my panties and new bra on and finish dressing. I walk to the bathroom and brush my hair. I just put my hair in a simple pony tail and began washing my face from the sleep. I don't apply makeup and walk out. I don't see violet in the kitchen or in the living room. I don't want to knock on her door just in case she's busy. I here my stomach growl and walk to the fridge smelling something. I pull open the silver fridge and see bags full of something dark. I assume it's blood, for emergencies. This is kind of an emergency. I think nervously. I can't take the risk of exposing myself to the town. I take a packet from the fridge and take a cup from the cabinet. I grab the scissors from the knife holder and cut the top of the bag. I tilted the bag into the cup as the dark liquid pored out. I found blood not as satisfying as eating the whole but it was filling non the less. I brought the glass cup to the brim of my lips and took a big gulp. The blood ran cold down my throat. my belly beginning to fill. I took the glass from my lips and let the left over liquid that lingered in my throat drain into my stomach. I took another gulp and finished the glass. I brought my cup to the sink and washed in under the water. As I ran the water through the cup I licked my lips removing the blood from the cracks of my lips. I set the cu in the sink and turn around to see Vi finishing her outfit with a black leather jacket. She was wearing a white loose top and tight jeans with her combat boots to hide the ends of her jeans. I smile as she runs her hand through her hair to get it the way she wants.
"Ready?"she asks heading to the key rack she had and unlocking the door.
"Yeah let me grab my bag" I say as I grab my bag and trail behind while locking the door. We jump in her car and speed down the road to get to school. It was about a twenty minute ride from her house to here. We find a parking spot in the front of the school. I hop out and feel a heat on my right side. I turn thinking the heat radiating is Justin. Disappointment is clear in my eyes as I see it's Josh.
"Didn't think I'd see you here" he says smiling with his boyish grin. He was hot. Maybe that dream was just me and the feeling I had that he was a creep.
"I didn't either" I say feeling a little more comfortable with him.
"I need help going to the office to pick up my schedule" he says suggesting that I should help him.
"Fine. Vi I'm helping someone to the office see you at lunch" I yell over to her on the other side of the car. I start to walk as I feel Josh jog up right by me.
"So what grade are you in?" he asks bumping shoulders with me.
"I'ma senior" I reply bumping into him. He chuckles as we arrive at the office.
"I'm a junior" he says looking down. His hair was down today, concealing his eyes when he looked down.
"You seem my age" I say looking at his hair. It looks like he just woke up and came here. It was still sexy.
"Yeah well your just old" he says looking up and smiling at me.
"Not that old" I reply shoving his shoulder.
"Alright I'll see you around" he says walking through the glass door of the office. I wave a slight wave and turn to see Vi with her arms crossed.
"You seem to know him well" she says with a smirk on her pink lips.
"Yeah I met him a while ago" I trail off avoiding her eyes.
"I know you better than that, when did you meet him and is he single?" she says laughing. She caught me off guard for a second. I deiced to skip the first question and answer the single. I didn't really know why I was avoiding telling her when I met him. I didn't really want her knowing.
"Yes, I think he's single" I say laughing with her.
"Score. You're taken any way" she says giving me a smile. I didn't want to be taken maybe I could date for a little bit then be with Justin. Or if I fall in love then I'll just be with them and leave Justin. That thought just made my heart hurt. I may end up with him. I don't want to but that may just be what I end up doing. It wasn't something I wanted anymore. I couldn't deny the bond. I feel it growing stronger. She links arms with me and we head to the bathroom. As we walk in we see the normal musketeers gussying themselves up. I let my eyes wander and notice one of them staring at me. Brittany's eyes were glued on me. I locked eyes with her. She glared at me and I could feel the anger rolling off her. I change my gaze to the mirror. They were still standing in front of it. What is with them. Okay I'm okay. I could feel the anger in me rising too. Maybe it was the thought of her and Justin together. Everything burned in me for thinking that. My mark on my neck began to burn as i moved my hair to cover it. Vi finally got annoyed with them in the way of the mirror.
"Can you move now? You look fine" she said rolling her eyes. They just scoffed and left the bathroom.
Lunch rolled around and i found my usual spot with Vi. We began eating in a weird silence. Heat radiated from the right side of me as I turned to see Josh. My smile dropped as quickly as i caught it to give him a small smile.
"Expecting someone else?" he asked taking the seat next to me.
"Yeah, sorry. I just didn't see someone all day and thought he was you" I said looking at the lunch I brought for myself. He bumped into me as I looked back up to him.
'Well until he gets back I'll be here" he says giving me his boyish grin. Is this going to become a thing. Me falling for his smile? I hope not. I miss Justin. Where the hell is he?
