To _KANJANA_ and Jayden. Thank you for being there
No one's POV
Blair 14 years old"Sister why would you ever want to go to the surface?" Jayden asks.
"I want adventure!" she beams.
"But it's dangerous!" Jayden explains.
"I'll be okay" Blair says consoling her sister. She rubs her arm in a reassuring manner as they stop in the middle of a busy water way.
"How do you know? They might be up there" Jayden hisses.
"They are long gone you don't have to worry" Blair says weaving in and out of the people swimming the opposite way. They were currently headed back home to their castle. With one last flick of heir same colored tails they were at the gates.
"Don't you go spouting that crap to mother" Jayden says. Their mother is the longest living siren and the one whose youth lasted longer.
"I won't. Mother won't miss me much any way. She always busy with Kay" Blair says rolling her eyes. Kay was the oldest of six and was about to take the thrown. she was gorgeous just like their mother. They all had brown hair and green eyes. The only two who took after their father was Blair and Jayden. Although they had different fathers, Blair and Jayden shared similar features. Out of all of them though everyone saw Blair as a prized jewel. They swam through the palace going to the main library to relax. This is where most of them resided. Kay was always with mother in her study. Blair had planned to make her escape tonight.
She didn't know how to exactly do this but she planned to just leave and take precious things with her. When they entered the main library their other sisters were already sitting and reading. Not a sound was to be heard except the flick of Blair and Jayden's tails. They swam to an open sponge couch. Blair went to find a book she might enjoy. She had enjoyed reading about other creatures. Although she never cared to remember the things she read she always enjoyed reading it. She sat down on the couch and began reading. Jayden came to sit after a while. When the final girl left the room and the door was shut, Jayden set her book down and turned to Blair. Blair put her book down and turned towards her.
"When will you come back?" she asks suddenly.
"I hope I won't ever have to" Blair replies.
"You have to we're family!" Jayden says getting up and crossing her arms. Blair and Jayden had been the closest. The others weren't close to each other and focused on learning and finding a mate.
"I want to start my own! I want someone to love me and be there to see their child grow up. I want to grow old with him" Blair says getting up next to her sister.
"Are you even a siren?" Jayden asks confused.
"I don't know, I don't want to be anymore! I'm stuck! Can't you see this is a curse for me!?" Blair says getting upset. She couldn't believe her sister wasn't supporting her on this.
"Blair it's our nature" Jayden says rubbing Blair's arm. Blair shrugs her hand off her arm and starts to swim away. She makes it to the door as Jayden tugs on her arm. Blair gives her a glare and Jayden face sinks. She didn't want to let her sister go.
"You always say that. I want to do this please tell me you will support me? I'll visit" Blair says.
"I'll help you out of the palace" Jayden says.
Night falls and everyone is asleep. Blair quietly swims through the palace and to the gate. She wants to get out undetected by the guards. Slipping through the gate is one of the ways. After she's out of the city, she will swim up and attach onto a boat. As she was passing by the last door of her sisters room she heard a door creek. She froze not knowing what to do or say. Thankfully it was Jayden. She had a sad look on her face. Her hands were intertwined at her tail as she began swimming closer to Blair. Blair felt the guilt she bottled up inside and wanted to stay just for her. Blair swims over to her and envelops her in a hug.
"I'll miss you" she whispers.
"I'll miss you too, I'll visit don't worry" Blair says.
"I'll see you later then?" Jayden says in more of a question. She wasn't sure when she'd see her again.
"Definitely but I need to go before anyone hears us. I love you" Blair says and turning to leave without a reply. She quickly makes it to the gate and slips past the gold bars. She finally slipped out, she's halfway to her freedom. She swims for what seems like miles. When she hears a ships horn blow. She swims to the surface and finds a big wooden ship. She doesn't know how she will attach onto the ship. She circles around the ship and finally finds a ladder. She climbed up half way and rested in the middle she had to be careful not to be seen by anyone. The sun rises and Blair is still attached to the ladder. She can see the faint outline of land is seen and she gasps and jumps from the ladder diving into the water. She quickly swims to the shore and dries her legs. She sighs in happiness as she rests on the squishy sand. This moment for her couldn't get any better. She took a deep breathe and smelled something she has never smelled before. She quickly gets up and follows the scent. She finds the smell. She sees a man showering his girlfriend with kisses on her neck. She acts on impulse to start singing. Her lungs fill the air as the man starts to rise and leave his beautiful girlfriend. A growl erupts from her lower area. She wants to cringe at the new pain. On land she needs to consume more than at sea. When she was far enough away she began to attack the man. Her first transformation into her siren.Hey guys so here's the chapter thanks for making it this far there are only a few chapters left after this is done I'm going to be writing more books down the road after this is down so go follow me and check them out!
