Justin's POV
We got out of the car and walked up to the front door. I open the door and see no one here. I walk in and go to my office and see it empty of my beta. I then close the door and walk to my meeting room. I open the door and see my top pack members looking at a map. I walk over and examine it. It was flight plans.
"Have you found where they were going?" I ask.
"Yeah we're looking at a schedule to take you on a flight"
"Make that two" Jayden says walking in.
"Who is she" I see one of my trackers holding his nose.
"She is Blair's sister" I say awkwardly.
"Well we should get your stuff ready" my beta said.
"She doesn't have anything" I said.
"Well then your packed and ready we should leave then" my beta says to me.
"Then let's go" I say trying to hurry.
"I'll give you the rest of the information on the way over. It'll be in a file so you can review it later." We walk out the house again and go into the garage. I jump into a black jeep. I got in on the passenger side and buckled up. Jayden came in on the driver side and I roll my eyes.
"In the back" I say to her. She jumps out and gets in the back. She buckles on her own and I sigh.
"Ready?' my beta asks.
"Let's go" I say annoyed. We drive for a while until we get to the airport. I grab my bag and hurry to the gates. Once we get through the gates we hurried to the loading area. We get on the plan and find our seats. It's first class so we don't have to go to far. I have her go first for a window seat. I sit next to her and pinch the bridge of my nose. I take the file out from my carryon. I look through it and the house was huge. This must have been her first house and she must have some emotional value to it. I look through her file and see her she was about to get married. I looked at his file to see he was still alive. Why didn't they get married. Apparently he had been living in this house for a while,
"What are you ready?" Jayden ask looking over my shoulder.
"Just a file on her best friend and fiancé" I say showing her the file of her fiancé.
"What happened?"
"I don't know, I'm hoping to find out from violet cause she didn't say anything to me" I say.
"You guys don't seem that close" Jayden says going back to her seat and leaning against the window. She started to yawn and caused me to follow in her actions.
"We weren't, I wish I was better to her though"
"What do you mean?" she said
"Well she was a vampire and I'm a werewolf" I said bluntly.
"What does that have to do with anything?"
"I don't know to me it just wasn't right. We were always at each others throats and it doesn't end well usually" I say resuming looking at the file.
"Well the way we learned in our cultural was that they respected each other and their was no difference. That was of course before the vampires and wolves blamed something on each other"
"What do you mean?"
"Well we learned that they were both creatures of the night both worshiping the moon. Someone did something to the other no one knows what though"
"How do you know if this is true?"
"I don't, it's just a story" she says closing her eyes and leaning more into the window.
"Well don't sleep for a while, we have to take off then you can sleep"
"What?" I chuckle and help her with her buckle. I take the strap brining it across her legs and buckling it into place.
"Do you want a pillow?"
"A what?" she asks leaning into the window again.
"Excuse me can I get a pillow?" I ask to the flight attendant walking by.
"Sure" she says her smile growing and scowling a Jayden. I roll my eyes as I see her try and swing her hips seductively to go and get a pillow. She comes back beaming as I take the pillow and pull Jayden's head up. I slip the pillow underneath her head as I see her curl more into the pillow readjusting it to be comfortable. I laugh and look back at the flight attendant.
"Do you think I could get a water?" I ask sweetly pulling the table out.
"Anything" she says hiding her disappointment with me and Jayden sitting together. I set the file down on the table and wait for the water to come. I take the water and thank her and put it in the cup holder. I begin reviewing the files for the rest of the flight.
Once we got through security and called a taxi, Jayden was starting to get hungry. I hold her in place and wait till we get to Violets house.
"No one's been up there in a while, what makes you to going up there?" the taxi driver asks. I examine him closer and see his beer belly and stained shirt. His skin looks grungy and full of bumps. His hair is bold on top with a few strands of hair on the side of his head. I shiver at the thought of him sitting here next to me.
"Just visiting a friends who lived there"
"Graveyard?"
"In a way" I say holding Jayden down more.
"Is your girly-friend okay there?" he asks looking in the mirror.
"Yeah she just is a little crazy after coming off the plane and can't keep her hands to herself.
"Alright well here we are" he says looking back. I pay him as he starts to leave. There wasn't a gate and it was just the front steps to go up. The house did look amazing though. We walked up the steps and rang the door bell. A few seconds later I see someone with purple hair and a goofy smile welcoming me in.
Double update enjoy :)
