Chapter 34-Check up

Blair's POV

3 months pregnant

I'm back home with Justin running his pack as Violet and Alex stayed in Canada. Violet said Jayden could live in her beach house. Justin really needed to get back to his pack. I left three weeks after he left. When I came the whole pack was on the outside welcoming me home. I was a little embarrassed at the jester but it was sweet. I started to show a little more and watch the kids at the pack house. School had been out for a while so I wasn't missing anything. Not that I needed it though. Justin has been busy preparing for the baby and running the pack. He's worried ever since the story Alex told about how it was a rouge vampire. He thinks the rouges and the vampires are teaming up. I haven't paid much attention to that stuff. I miss Violet. Jayden has gotten a little more used to her growing hunger and has gone out once a night to hunt. Not in this town though. A pack member takes her over there every day. I feel bad for him. During the first few weeks of getting used to the hunger on land sirens start to try and entice those they are near to lure them in. It can be a pain in the a$$ sometimes.

I got up and was getting ready for my doctors appointment. Today was the day I figure out the gender of the baby. Justin thinks it's a boy. I doubt it considering I'm a siren but with his wolf it could be a boy. I'm just hoping it's his though. He's forgiven me but not Violet after I told him when he rejected me she said I should go and have sex with other guys to get their bodies going. I didn't want to but I never tried. I am stuck with him and I wouldn't have it any other way. I struggled to get up with as big as my belly was. That and Justin's arm was hooked around me. He had to get up soon too. Even though he had a rough night with paper work he still wanted to be there for this. I finally squeezed my way out and left him groaning on the bed. I went to the walk in closet and looked around for what to wear. I liked o wear something loose for how I look right now. I wasn't big enough to have maternity clothes that would fit but I'm also bigger than my normal tops. I picked out a loose flannel and boot cut jeans. I was buttoning up the flannel as Justin walked in wearing nothing but boxers. No matter how many times I see him I still blush. He comes up behind me and rest his head on my shoulder wrapping his arms around my hips and gazing down at my belly. He kisses my cheek and goes to get dressed. We finally found what satisfies my need to eat. It would be raw meet for a while. To get the blood my siren needs and the protein for the wolf part of the baby. We would have to go to the pack doctor considering eating raw meat isn't necessarily normal for a pregnancy. I started to walk down the stairs and felt a hand on my own. I looked down then up at Justin with a goofy grin. We skipped breakfast and went outside to pack yards. Few houses were around here seeing as some people want to live in the pack house or a little bit away from it. We walked to the pack doctors office. Justin opened the glass door for me as I went to go sit on the ugly chairs. Justin went to check in as the nerves got to me. If it was a girl it would most likely to be Josh's. My hands began to sweat as Justin took a seat next to me. I smiled at him as he put his arm around my shoulder. He kissed the top of my head and waited for the doctor to come out. A few minutes passed as the doctor finally came through the doors.

"Good morning Alpha and Luna" she said nodding to the both of us.

"Morning" Justin said trying to contain his excitement.

"I take it the baby is doing well?" she said looking towards me.

"So far so good" I reply.

"You look a lot bigger than most" she said looking at my belly.

"Yeah I noticed that too" I said looking down too.

"Well let's go see what the bundle of joy is" she said opening the door for us to come back. We followed her back to the ultrasound room. She seated me down on the examination table and put her gloves on. She began greasing me up and prepping the machine. She moved the monitor to face is as he rolled her chair to the other side of me. She began moving the machine on my belly. On the screen appeared the baby.
"Well looks like a baby boy" she said smiling to us. Tears brimmed my eyes as I looked on the screen to see Justin's baby. He held my hand and squeezed it as he began to stare at the screen and then by belly.
"I told you it was mine" he said with a smug look.
"I never doubted you" I said smiling as a few tears escaped. He brought his hand to my cheek to wipe the tears away and kiss my forehead. The doctor got up from her chair and walked to the door.
"Alpha" she said turning to Justin, "Luna" she nodded towards me. I slightly laughed as Justin took my hand helping me up. I took his hand and squeezed it and finally got up. We hobbled out with pride and tears in our eyes.
