That night I wasn't hungry I just did homework and relaxed. Violet said she'd be here soon to go swim. She wasn't big about going in the water but she never had to breathe though, making it easy for vampires to hunt in water and swim with mermaids and sirens. When she got here she had a little blood dripping from her mouth.

"Hunting again?" I asked raising my eyebrow at her.

"Did I miss a spot?" She said running to my broken mirror. She studied herself in the mirror and rubbed off the blood. "Time to go swimming now" she said clapping her hands. She was wearing a see-through top with her black bikini to underneath it. Her shorts covered her bottoms but I assumed they matched anyway. I got up and dressed in a white bikini top with spandex to cover my women parts. I got to the shore and pulled my spandex off and setting them by the water. I stepped into the water feeling my feet push together to become one. My skin turned to piercing black scales. My bikini top was still there but was covered by my long dark hair. I turned to see Violet getting into the ice cold water. She walked in slowly in like she was trying to avoid something. I just leaned lower down in the water and shook my head at her. The water wasn't that bad. She then got deep enough to dive under a wave that was coming. She looked graceful swimming under the water. Her bright hair was shinning bright in the dark sea. Tonight was gloomy and gray. The water was a darker color and the clouds loomed over the sun causing the water to look darker. Violet swam towards me popping up just a few feet away. She was really beautiful. She didn't have contacts in so you could see her fiery red eyes. They were especially red since she just had dinner. We swam around for a while till she wanted to go. Water wasn't her thing and she did want to be alone for most of her time. I appreciate her being here and actually socializing. She needs to get out more and I don't know why she doesn't. She won't talk to anyone a lot. I continued to swim a bit longer flicking my tail to go farther distances and riding the waves up until they crashed. I finally decided to get out and went to the shore. I sat on the shore for a little while longer and finally found my spandex and went inside to sleep. I went to my hammock in my cave and closed the door. I and closed my eyes and drifted off into a peaceful, swaying sleep.

When I woke up it was a barely dawn. I pushed my legs over to get my legs out of the hammock. I went to my old wooden wardrobe and got some clothes for the second day. I wore a teal see-through shirt with a white tank top under it with short shorts. For my shoes I picked out some plain black converse. I did my hair in natural curls that cascaded down my back. It was my natural hair it just wasn't my bed head. I pulled a brush through and was good to go. I didn't need any make up so I pulled the rock open and exited out of my cave onto the beach with my backpack. I didn't put my shoes on right away so I walked up the beach to get to the parking lot. I brushed the sand of my feet and put some plain ankle socks on, then my shoes. I went to sit down on a beach that was near by, to wait for Violet. I was in a daze thinking about how school was going to go today, when a car honked. I looked up and sat up to walk to the car.

"Hey" I greeted her waiting for her to unlock the car to her convertible sports car.

"You smell absolutely terrible" She said holding her nose. "Spray yourself! We're going to my house for a shower after school. You smell like seaweed" she said scrunching her nose up in distaste of how I smell.

"Thanks." I said sarcastically. I grabbed the bottle of perfume she was holding and dowsed myself so I smelled like one of the sluts at school. "I'm going to smell like a slut now" I said fake pouting and getting into the car.

"Heavens no! They smell like sex and sweat, then perfume" she said beaming at me. For someone who doesn't like to socialize she was okay in the sense that she was nice and funny to me. She's there for me as I am for her.

"That makes me feel a ton better" I say sarcastically to her and smile. I hand her the bottle and open the door to sit in the car. I throw my bag in the back as she starts to pull out of the parking lot area. On the way to school we were listing to music with the top was down and our hair was flowing in the wind.
