Blair's POV
17 years old
I woke up on a chair I was unfamiliar with. I was strapped in it and saw a similar seat next to me. I still felt groggy and was still adjusting to waking up. I look around more and saw Violet was not anywhere near. I remember getting on the lane and falling asleep. I was about to unbuckle my belt as I saw Violet returning. I relaxed a little and ran my hand through my hair. I had a dream about meeting and leaving my family. I hadn't seen them in so long and I missed them so much. I smile at her and rest my head back on the head rest.
"You okay?" she asks sitting back down in her spot and buckling up.
"Yeah just had a weird dream and I don't know why I had it" I tell her closing my eyes and brining my fingers to the bridge of my nose
"Care to share?" she asked me as I heard the buckle of her seat snap.
"It was more like a memory, it was when I first met you when I was fourteen" I said opening my eyes and shifting my weight to look at her.
"That is weird, maybe it's the pregnancy dreams" she said laughing lightly.
"Yeah maybe you're right" I said feeling foolish for saying anything.
"So how are you feeling?" she asked grabbing her pillow to rest on the back of her head.
"I'm fine for now at least" I said shrugging and returning to my original position sitting properly in the seat.
"That's good" she said clasping her hands and pushing her head back on the seat and closing her eyes. I knew she didn't sleep, she was probably doing that for relaxation.
"How do you know it's Josh's baby?"
"He told me he can feel the baby" she said opening her eyes and looking at me.
"You trust him?" I asked. I didn't feel right about her trusting him.
"I've known him since he was born. I trust him, I know he looks bad but he's not. He's just stuck with his siren. His siren is power hungry and he needs a child to calm his siren" she said looking at me with a sincere look.
"What if it's Justin's and he's not there to see it?" I asked her. It felt wrong to leave him for so long and then just to give the child up to Josh? I didn't know what was right at this point.
"Then I'm sorry for taking this step to protect you and I was played by Josh" she said simply. I trusted her with what she was saying. She was up front with me and that's what I needed right now. Even if I didn't want to hear it.
"Thanks Violet" I said smiling and closing my eyes.
"No problem kid" she said right before I closed my eyes and went back to sleep.
Justin's POV
18 years old
I was now on my way back with Jayden to go and find more about where Violet took Blair. The water was getting darker and choppier. The clouds loomed over our heads. I offered her my shirt but she didn't want it. I felt really awkward sitting her with her. When we reached land I scratched the back of my neck waiting for her to get out of the boat. She stumbled on the deck and falling on me. My face went red as I quickly set her on her feet.
"Okay you need clothes I can't do this" I say turning away and hearing a thud. I roll my eyes and quickly strip my top and bring it over her body. This was better than nothing though. I steady her as I hear her stomach growl. She groans clenching her stomach.
"I need something before I loose control" she breathes out. I wipe my hand down my face annoyed. I look around and find some fresh fish being sold on the docs. I walk over and buy a random fish and turn to see her beginning to shift.
"Sh!t" I grumble. I hurry to her and shove the fish in her mouth. She downs the fish and I sigh.
"Dude! That's not enough!" she seethes.
"You made me waste my hard earned cash on you it better be enough" I said spitting in her changing face. "Really we don't have time for this"
"I can't control it" she says sounding like she's in pain.
"Hey Justin can you come back to the pack house we found where Violets going" one of my pack members said walking up to me. Why?! I push Jayden in the water and look at him.
"Okay thanks I'll be back with a guest later" I say slightly irritated.
"Are you okay Alpha?" why can't he leave and I'll be there in a sec?
"Never better" I say feeling a tug on my ankle. I kick her hand back until she falls in the water with a splash again. my pack member turns around giving me a weird look without questioning me and heads back to where ever the hell he's going.
"Justin let me up" I hear her call up to me from the doc.
"What the F*** is your probable just wait" I whisper yell at her spitting on the curse.
"Sorry Mr. Grouch" she says folding her hands across my now soaked shirt. I grip the bridge of my nose and exhale. This week just isn't the best and I need Blair right now.
"Just let me get you some clothes and stay out of site right now. It's all I ask for at the moment. Don't attempt to go and do your little siren tricks please" I beg her, "Stay" I say sticking my hand at her to make sure she understands. I look back at her to make sure she is and see her roll her eyes. I have my hands full don't I? I groan and grumble walking to find some cheap clothing.
