Chapter 19-Luna Kat

Vi's POV

18 years ago.

I saw Josh's face as he was turning red. My vision became blurred as the world was spinning. I closed my eyes and opened them again. I felt like I was floating in water. I looked around and saw a field. I walked towards the field and saw Josh on the green grass crying. His sobs echoed throughout this weird land. I reach for his shoulder to try and feel if this is real. He turned around and is aw his tear stained cheeks flushing from his now glowing blue eyes. I tumbled back looking shocked.

"You did this!" He roared his voice lacing with sorrow and power.

"Josh calm down. I don't even know what's happening right now" I said trying to calm him. It didn't seem to work as his eyes began glowing more.

"You always say that and it makes it worse. I don't want you any more so stop looking out for me I can take care of myself!" he cried sobbing harder. pain radiated from my heart coursing through my still veins. heat became more and more like a burning. I couldn't rasp my voice out to scream or try and make another pain start to distract me from the current pain. "You deserve to die" he said.

18 years later

That little kid grew up to be one powerful son of a bitch. I gritted my teeth and looked at Justin. He looked confused by my actions.

"The kid came here and is causing trouble with a certain siren" I said looking at the old alpha.

"Just like his old man" the alpha chuckled.

"What do you mean?" Justin asked him.

"Kat was a siren" he said looking a the old photo on the table.

"What kind?" Justin asked.

"The rarest one" he said in a low passive growl.

"What do you mean?" Justin asked.

"I mean, she's a royal. She broke one of their laws and she was banished. She was he only one left and her heir was supposed to rule. He didn't so he gained powers. We didn't know this so we let this go on" he said looking down regretting what he did in the past.

"Where can we-" Justin's sentence was cut short when he fell clutching his heart. I rush to him and feel his body temperature rising. I looked for something to cool him down.

"What's happening?" I asked with a worried voice.

"His mate is mating with someone. Whose his mate?" he asked.

"Blair, the one he took"

"He's trying to start a kingdom"

'Won't he loose his powers then?" I asked.

"Not if he starts it. We can't let that child be born if she becomes pregnant" he said running to Justin's side. Justin's body stiffened and I could hear his wolf whimper. I grabbed his hand to comfort him. A wolf and a vampire the two unlikely. his body temperature was slowly going down. I release his hand and he starts to sit up. His clothes are drenched in sweat and so is his hair. I brushed my hand through his hair enjoying the hot drops the slipped through my fingers. I can't fall for him. Maybe I am but I can't do that to Blair. It would never happen anyway. He slowly drifted off into a slumber.

"Where do we look for them?"

"Back to where he was born"

"And where is that?" I asked him.

"Only Kat knew" he said looking down.

"You weren't there?" I asked him looking at him like he wasn't there for the birth of his son. No wonder he is the way he is.

"Once Siren's are born they turn into their siren and wait for the siren inside them to grow and develop the skill to breathe in water" It's a sirens nature. once the baby starts to grow we can't pull her out. We may be her next meal. Believe me I tried" he said lifting his shirt up. Claw marks ran down his chest. I looked at the scared skin.

"What do we do then?" I asked.

"We either kill the fetus or Blair" he said bluntly.

"We can't kill her!" I said. She's the only one whose actually been a good person. we've had some fun times even though I drag her some places. She's still the only one who hasn't left like the others. I eventually shut others out. She didn't cause she understands. I'm going to either kill that kid or Josh.

"Then you try and take away a baby from a killer siren who goes ferial when you even come close. Killing her would be easier. Trust me. If you don't I will" a single tear fell as I tried to hold back a sob. He held me in a hug and I let everything I had go. I felt cold for the first time in a long time. I had other things to keep me warm. Like Justin even though we had our disagreements I still felt warm. The sun gave me warmth. Kept my frozen body warm. I wanted to end it all and now even more so. If she dies I'll go down with her. What's there for me to live for? I couldn't be with Justin and be his Luna. More sobs fell. My life is going to be and end when that baby is born.

Agnes was a simple girl. She's a skinny white girl who is constantly being bullied for her size. They're all jealous of course but even still it hurts her. When others went past her in weight they realized she's weird and isn't going to ever be in there group. No one understands her. She would wonder away from her busy parents and barely notice her. She wonders down to the shore at the bottom of the cliff where she lives. At the bottom she finds a baby manta ray. She doesn't know what to do as she sees blood. She never liked it. The feeling of nausea sets in. She walks to the ray and sees a gash. She's unsure of what to do with the animal. She looks for a bucket nearby and grabs it. She quickly runs back and scoops up water. She quickly grabs a bucket of water and empties it on the struggling animal.
